1. It depends on what I‘m doing that day. If I‘m staying home then I change out of my nightgown into something comfortable to wear and then I change back into my nightgown before bed but if I leave the house then I change into a T-shirt and shorts and then when I get home, I‘ll change back into something comfortable and then put on my nightgown before bed.
2. Tagged! I‘ve seen the movie but I haven‘t read the book.

1. I‘m pretty boring. Most days I change twice. I change out of sleepwear into day clothes in the morning, and I change from my day clothes into sleepwear at night.
2. I have no idea! Once again I‘ll be boring and copy @TheSpineView

Another must-reads that has been long overdue for me. I can see why everyone has enjoyed this one so much.

5/5 for this one! This book took βmean bossβ to the next level! The things our poor main character, Andi, has to go through are just awful! Andi gets the job that a million girls would die for, but once she has it she discovers it‘s not everything she hopes it will be. I loved her journey in this book. She is not a perfect character, but I liked her for her imperfections. I got to see a side of the fashion industry that I‘ve never seen before.

This one came up immediately to my mind even if I didn't read the book (and I think I won't π)

Weisberger has a fun sense of humor throughout, but I think it‘s just not meant to be my type of book. I enjoyed the movie quite a bit, but I could probably attribute that to my entire lack of fashion knowledge, and all the name dropping in the book meant literally nothing to me. It worked better as a visual story for me, but still well-written and worth my actually wanting to pick it up again to finish.
My first book for #TBRDeckofCards!
Here‘s hoping I actually get some reading in. π€ͺ Work is in upheaval, I don‘t know up from down anymore. I haven‘t read at all the last day or two. I‘m definitely looking forward to the weekend but I‘ll be sticking with the modest goal of finishing the tagged book and getting as far in Forces of Nature as I can.

Funny, sassy, and a lot of sarcasm, the Devil Wears Prada follows a young optimistic college grad who is dying for a start in New York journalism career but finds herself the personal assistant to the editor in chief of Runway Magazine. Hopefully from what everyone has told her, if she makes it through one year working for Miranda Priestly, she'll be able to snag one of the jobs she really wants thanks to the name and reputation of her boss.
1. This sounds very sad but never ever got dressed up for Halloween, wasn‘t such a big think in the U.K. when I was growing up but my favourite fancy dress was when I went as a devil as a young adult?
2. Not particularly Halloween but love Which Witch by Eva Ibbotson.

I actually haven‘t read the book but I did enjoy the movie. I liked that it doesn‘t revolve around a male lead, liked the story line, and such a treat for eyes to watch. Fashionistas will love it!

I did not like Andy. At all. I thought she was passive aggressive when she would do mean, obnoxious things to get back at Runway and Miranda Priestly. She was always defensive when her parents, Alex, and the best friend tried to talk to her.
However, I know I will read the sequel Revenge Wears Prada. Thank goodness, I love Anne Hathaway. I'm watching the movie on my day off.

What did you think of the books or books you read this month?
#NovelWatchingCrew #NWC
1. Is there any other leading man?
2. It would depend on the Chick Lit. Then again I would be in charge of the story. So maybe.
3. Way too many to list. Also I share some of my favorites with you every week. Now it is your turn to βDazzle me, my darlings...β (oops that wasn‘t from a chick lit, but I will give you bonus points if you can tell me what it is from.) Plus this is my chance to get more quotes for my collection.

I‘m somehow weirdly entertained when I like the movie better than the book maybe because it seldom happens for me. In the movie Meryl, Anne, and Emily embodied both comedy and empathy for their Miranda, Andrea, and Emily. In the book, Andrea‘s constant whining got old way before the book resolved.
#15Books15Weeks Book 6
This book was just the ticket. It has the same fun vibe as Crazy Rich Asians with the right hint of drama to prevent it from being complete fluff. I imagine it would make a good beach read.
This book was my first thought for #ShoesOnTheCover though the original cover was a little different. βThat is all.β #MagnificentMarch

π½ Mall Cop
πΆ Stairway to Heaven because of the first verse.
There's a lady who's sure
All that glitters is gold
And she's buying a stairway to heaven
When she gets there she knows
If the stores are all closed
With a word she can get what she came for
Oh oh oh oh and she's buying a stairway to heaven
Very similar to the movie and since I loved the movie I also loved the book! Meryl Streep was too perfect so I kept picturing her throughout my read, which is not a problem at all in my mind. π
#CharactersLikeAlice
I think Miranda Priestly has a lot in common with the #QueenOfHearts: very much in charge, and quite civilised - until you cross her.
I kept waiting for this book to get better but the same scenario kept playing out over and over with slightly different details. This is a rare day when I say the movie was better.

Happy Saturday! It's 5 o'clock somewhere, right? ππ·
I just started this book since Lucas bought me When Life Gives you Lulu Lemons... and I'm not sure how I feel about book Andrea. This is one of my favorite movies of all time (literally wrote a college essay on it), and in the movie Andrea was a strong, independent person. So far in the book she seems like a fumbling idiot. π Has anyone else read this & seen the movie? Thoughts?
DAY 2: Miranda Priestly is a total #IcePrincess, or more accurately, an ice queen. βοΈπΈπΌ Still, you can‘t help be warm up to her just a teeny bit. I like this one, but I think I prefer the movie.
