Fall is here! I‘ve got a massive #OctoberTBR but I‘m on vacation after tomorrow so I have high hopes! Many of these are #pemberlittens reads but I‘ve got a couple of exciting library holds that have come in, my #flaviabuddyread, two for #heycarrots, the next #agathachristieclubr2, my #girlybookclub book, a couple of #15books15weeks stragglers and lots of leftovers from previous months. Bring on the cool weather, it‘s perfect for reading!

Number 15 of #15books15weeks! An appropriate book to finish this challenge on 😉 As a lifelong library lover, I knew I would love this book! The story was a bit dry at times and fascinating at others. Some of the contents seems to be filler at best. I expected it to be more about the person who was suspected but never convicted of starting the fire. There is some serious doubt about that. Still a worthwhile read for all library lovers ☺️

OMG, this was written in the present tense. It was so bizarre. But it was a good way to dip my toe into the relationship between the Van Gogh brothers‘ relationship before reading their letters.

Book 11 in #15books15weeks. Getting closer even if the goal date is long gone!

The seventh installment in the George Dillman/Genevieve Masefield series and another winner. These are short, quick cozy mysteries set on the ocean liners of the 1920s and 1930s. In this one the, J. P. Morgan is a guest aboard the Oceanic with treasures in tow from an art buying trip to Paris. A fun story.

This will be last finish for #15books15weeks with Book 11. Although I didn‘t quite finish the challenge, I did get 11 knocked off my TBR.

I won't finish them both by tonight but I'm counting then anyway since they were started before the end of the challenge. Glad I've read this classic of #canlit now. It is very CanLit, so I'm not surprised I enjoyed it. Somehow I'd never read any W. O. Mitchell before, will definitely read more.

The final installment in the Hunger Games Trilogy. I wasn‘t quite as enthralled with this one as I was the others, but it was a good end to the series. Overall, enjoyable. Now I‘m curious to watch the movies and see how Hollywood visualizes this world.

Some #audiopuzzling while I finished up Code Girls, an intriguing look at how USwomen broke the Japanese and German coded messages that helped turn the tide for the Allies and win WWII. I‘m not one for war books, it‘s just not my jam. But twist those stories on their heads to teach me about women using their brains? Count me in.

Book 10 for #15books15weeks

#13 for #15books15weeks. I won a copy of this beautiful book sometime back and regretfully didn't get to it until late this summer. It was so worth the wait though! Historical fiction is one of my favorite genres and I really enjoyed reading about the life of Hedy Kiesler/Hedy Lamarr. A beautifully told account of Hedy's amazing life both personally and professionally, as an actress and as an inventor. How she helped with (continued in comments)
