Stopped by my parents' house today, and my mom sent me home with a book 💙 @Lunaglassart
When I don't really know what I want to read, Roberts is usually a safe choice. While this wasn't my favorite romantic thriller of hers, I really enjoyed the characters and wanted to see those happy endings all around.
Always fun to finish the first book of a new year because it fills so many challenges! 😂
Could not put this book down; weekend was put on hold while I read. Roberts skillfully had your heart pounding one minute and then had you laughing; a roller coaster. Shelby finds herself now a young widowed mother millions of dollars in debt. All she wants to do is get back home to her family. But as she cleans as much up as she can after her husband‘s accident, she finds more and more evidence that her recent life had been nothing but a lie.
This one was just okay for me. I like romantic suspense but usually want the suspense part to be the main focus of the story. The storyline was cute but corny at times. But, that could also just be me being a cold-hearted jerk 🤷🏾♀️☺️. I‘ve never been a fan of overly sappy stories.

Almost made it to 13 hours last night but needed to sleep.
Pretty pleased with how much I managed given we were visiting my sister for the weekend. #24in48
It's Raining Men! At least that's the colour of my nail polish and I'm pairing it with The Liar by Nora Roberts. My favourite type of summertime reading!
#MayBookFlowers #day10 #lies My lovely boss made a detour on one of her testimony trips to Boonsboro and brought me back this autographed copy. It's still on my TBR shelf but I swear I'm gonna get to it soon!
#maybookflowers If you read Nora you know her formula girl meets boy with family, drama, a small town and some adorable pet :-) This is a solid standalone book dealing with a wife finding out the man she married wasn't who she thought he was.
Next up on my LaNora kick - picked up from the library.
Our heroine: newly widowed (and heavily indebted) mother of a toddler heads back home to the hills of Tennessee to escape her husband's shady dealings.
Our hero: does home refurbishing. Currently lives in our heroine's dream house and is fixing it up. He has put in a spa style en suite. Love is inevitable.
Such a great book. Loved Griffin and Shelby's story.
Going old school today - listening to an audiobook on cd's. I read the book last year so if I miss something while cleaning it won't matter #biblioweekend 😄
Nora Roberts romantic suspense - entertaining and with fun twists, kind of predictable, but it kept me reading. Woman finds out her husband lied about everything, leaves her millions in debt, and now she's in danger too.
This book is good, but not quite as awesome as football being back!!!! Da Bears!!!
