It‘s still Monday here & today I am grateful for helpful coworkers who put your random food items on their blowout sale order & pick them up for you & I‘m grateful for work sales on random food items. This bucatini pasta, pound of chopped & frozen ginger, tray of frozen green vegan potstickers & this 30oz rub of frozen hibiscus purée (it‘s mostly going to be used for sorbet) cost me $20.

I thought I would kill two birds with one stone:
Today‘s #Gratitude30 theme is #Time. I‘m posting a picture of my receipt for mailing my #StuffedStockingSwap package today, and I‘m so happy that I got it off on time! Yay me, because I‘m such a procrastinator....
But I‘m most grateful that I‘m even involved in a swap like this, and that‘s down to being in Litsy....

Waking up early on this summer day was no fun, but I quickly got excited about my day of English fun at the university! A cup of coffee and I was off to summer camp for English nerds! It was lit (in all possible ways!), and I enjoyed discussing poetry and stretching my creative writing muscles with other English teachers. After a coupon-assisted dinner out, I plan to relax in preparation for day 2 tomorrow!

2. Beach. Not even for swimming- the sound of the waves relaxes me like nothing else can.

I‘m waayyy late for #bitmojimonday but here goes @hermyknee

Typical Monday—drag out of bed (but only for 2 more weeks!!), head to the classroom and pep talk the kids into making that last push here at the end. Then home, dinner, fall asleep on the couch, get up and grade, then head to bed. I‘m truly living the dream! 😜. Thanks for starting this, @hermyknee . It‘s fun!

This is my form ever attempt at Bitmojis.
My Monday involves waking up with coffee and putting my game face on. I spend most of my days saying Can I help you? Which then usually involves me helping people balance their checkbooks or finding their statements. We were supposed to see Deadpool 2 tonight but the Mr is going to be home later than expected. So I‘m just chilling.

This is more like my week than my day, but... It‘s my birthday (the big 37); working hard trying to keep my students focused for a week and a half; get to have a little “me time” before I head to a B-day Girls Night; then finally we are off to Lake Arrowhead this weekend! Happy Monday, friends!

I've got my coffee, my cookies, my Kobo, and my Kindle. I'm ready for my long weekend to keep going!
Now I just have to decide what to read next!

1. I‘m in the middle of Hunger by Alma Katsu but I‘m also reading Down Among the Sticks and Bones by Seanan McGuire. My current work/lunch break read is All That is Solid Melts Into Air by Darragh McKeon.
2. My mom @Kaye She says I was practically born in our hometown library and some of my earliest memories are of that library and of seeing her reading.

I‘m working this week, and I practically woke up singing today! The hubs made me tea & breakfast while I got ready. I wore my new crown necklace he just gave me this weekend when he got home from his conference. We came home to take care of the dogs, then back to being swamped at work. I got my 1st paycheck in a long time (just for my 2 training days) then I had coffee and have been wired ever since! Hell of a first day! 😊 #BitmojiMonday

I wanted to participate!!! I love bitmoji, first I ended up going to a Dr appointment where they found that they lost my birth control implant in my arm Yay! They said they will fix it tomorrow but sheesh! Then I got home paid all the bills & took a nap! Today is also the first day of Summer term so I‘m now going online to check my assignments and hopefully 🤞🏻 I get some reading time before bed! Yay for #bitmojimondays feel free to play!

5:00 got up and made breakfast and kindergarten sandwiches for the kid followed by some morning cartoons and Star Wars related playtime
8:30 kid is in kindergarten and it‘s my day off, starting a new book
14:00 having yummy salad for lunch (summertime bliss)
19:00 should have done chores today but was reading - meh! - oh well, Netflix then 😉😂

I was not a fan of getting up for work this morning, but that‘s what coffee‘s for, right? At least I have my audiobooks to get me through the workday (really liking The Great Alone so far), and I will definitely be squeezing in extra reading on my breaks. After work, I have a meeting and my last exam of the semester, and then, I get to relax!
