Getting some reading and watching in today! It‘s nice when I make time for these things.
Abbot elementary Halloween episode, outrageous pumpkin‘s episode, and poohs heffalump Halloween! Finished Bad luck charm which I didn‘t love but got a lot for the word search, and started A treacherous Curse which I am loving! #scarathlon #BOOklovers
I never read series. It's a problem I have. However, I can't stop reading this series. I love the wit and banter of the main characters. The plots are mysteries are easy to figure out but they are fun. This time Veronica and Stoker are looking for a missing archaeologist who may or may not of fallen victim to a mummy's curse. I give this one 5 stars
Another pitch perfect mystery for the third installment in the series. I appreciate the characterization continuity, even as new secrets are revealed, Veronica and Stoker remain unique and stubborn each in their own way, admiring each other when not thoroughly exasperated or exasperating. Outrageous moments and banter deliver regular chortles. Still hoping for a novel where they go on expedition outside London though!
Weekend #BookMail 😁
I'm now only 2 books away from completing my Veronica Speedwell collection (so far) Gotta love those BO sales!
Might be some books here for my #HauntedHollowsSwap match too 👻
Happy Weekend!

This series is ridiculously fun. My older daughter and I are trading them back and forth as I soak up some relaxation and a couple vacation days 🌞👓⛱️
Book 3 finds Veronica and Stoker investigating an Egyptian archeological dig gone awry. We also get more of Stoker's backstory in this one.
Another fun outing with Veronica and Stoker. This series really demands you walk around the house with your nose in a book until it‘s finished! Fun, smart and an original series - with a cast of characters, main and side, that delight. My only quibble with this one - it would have been good to have toned down the empire activity ( and if not - rework that narrative). But this is a fab series to get your reading game back in gear.
Starting something fun tonight. I‘m always a stickler for reading a series in order and I recently found out I‘ve miss out this book in the series! Once I got over the horror I tried to delight in the joy of another unread book in this series waiting for me!
I am tearing through this series now, and I‘m going to have to slow down before I run out of books :( I hope some of the interpersonal relationships progress soon, I hate when series deaf these things out forever!
Hello Littens! I‘m on medical leave for a few months, and thought this would be the perfect time to come back to Litsy! So here goes…
I‘m starting 2022 with an old friend, Veronica Speedwell. I‘m only halfway through but this is by far my favorite story in the series. I hope to review for you in a day or two. Enjoy your day!
Veronica Speedwell is such a fun main character. While I‘m reading I always wonder how she‘d get along with Charlotte Holmes from the Lady Sherlock series.
The mystery this time brings more of Stoker‘s background, which was good. I‘m interested to see what happens next. I‘m glad I still have several of these left to read.
This was my #BookSpin for August.
95 of 2021. #littenlisten #juneholidayreads 6/1

Love Stoker and Veronica. I am really enjoying this series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This 3rd book in the series unveils some great revelations into the mystery that is Stoker. I love these books. This is my second re-reading of this series. Deanna Raybourn combines wit and Victorian mystery masterfully.
The curse of loving a series and wanting to read it all, but knowing once you do it would be over. Only 2 left!
On to book 3! Perfect for this snowy day ❄️❄️❄️
I am ending the year right with this thoroughly
enjoyable series. I like reading about Veronica and Stoker‘s relationship, their amusing banter and sleuthing adventures. In this instalment, there‘s an Egyptian curse, a missing diadem, and a missing man that put Stoker in a difficult position. Full of fun and intrigue!
And with this, I‘ve completed my #mandmchallenge #memoirsandmysteries
Thanks for the challenge @BarbaraTheBibliophage
Probably my favourite of the series so far. I always love the wit and sassy repartee with such fun characters. I adored the Egyptian theme in this one. I need to now get the next three ones!
I need to play catch up my friends! 🙃
📚 Tagged! She KILLED it with this book!! 🙌🏽♥️

Yup, I read a lot today. Bikkit looks so concerned that I stopped reading for a break, here -- guess she's as eager as me to see the leads get together? #BunniesofLitsy
Still lots of fun, though not at all realistic.
So good! These get better and better and are the perfect doorway to another world, simpler, compelling, and delightful!
This feels like the perfect book for a chilly, quiet day away from the world.
Evidently, I never posted November stats! 🤦🏻♀️
I discovered Charles Todd and heroine Bess Crawford this month. 👍🏻
I love this series and these characters so much! Putting a hold on the next book right away
I love this series! Veronica and Stoker's relationship is so fun and I love how it grows and develops as we go. Looking forward to picking up the next one!
Starting this one today!😍💝
I love this series. I enjoy Veronica‘s personality, Stoker, and the storylines. I may not have done much today from my to do list, but I now have two books completed for my #bookfitnesschallenge goal. #bfcr2
I‘m thoroughly enjoying the charming, witty narrative voice in this series. I especially loved the Egyptology plot in this book, which reminded me of the Amelia Peabody mysteries, and I was totally riveted by the side plot involving Stoker. Also, I appreciated that the author took a step to highlight how problematic Egyptology & other archeological pursuits by the British were in the 1800s. On to book 4! ★★★★☆.
#currentlyreading | started this at 1AM and already got halfway through it before finally going to bed oops 😁
The third book in the Veronica Speedwell series goes more into depth about Stoker's past, leaving more intriguing questions about the history and futures of both he and Veronica. These books get better and better and I am going to be so sad when I get to the 4th book and then I have to wait for more. I just may continue on with the story in my head. It is that good.

I have devoured the first four audiobooks in the #VeronicaSpeedwell series this week — such fun!
Cannot control myself so getting back into rereading Veronica Speedwell
I thoroughly enjoyed this third installment of the Veronica Speedwell series! I‘m a little sad that my #audiobinging has come to an end but I‘m looking forward to reading the next book! This Egyptian fun was a good addition and I #believe that I may enjoy this series even more than her first! It‘s been supreme #AudioColoring fun! #LiteraryLuck
Victoria and Stoker are at it again. This time there's an Egyptian curse and a missing man and diadem. Nothing, however, is as it seems.
Now I'm ready for the new one.
These. Books. 🤣
A reread before I get my hands on the new one.
We had the amazing Deanna Raybourn at the bookstore today!
Deanna Raybourn is going to be at my bookstore this afternoon, and I'm on book 3! Can't wait for the event today!
"February had been thoroughly nasty, with snowfall of apocalyptic proportions and temperatures that would have caused a polar bear to shiver."

These books are my everything. That is all. (Apologies for the bad image, I‘ve been reading these off my phone because I simply cannot wait for the next one and need to continue reading as quickly as possible) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
YAY!!! Raybourn‘s third installment of one of my favorite historical mystery series is a finalist for Edgar‘s Best Novel!!! ♥️♥️♥️🎉🎉
