This holiday romance requires serious suspension of disbelief. Merry's mom and brother create an online dating profile for her, using only the dog's picture. Not only does someone else who also only posted a dog pic want to get to know her, but all messages she receives are so G-rated that she is ok with letting her little brother and mom read them. If you are a woman who has done ANY online dating, you know how unrealistic that is. But it is ⬇️

I loved this quick easy read for the holidays. It was as predictable as a story could be but very sweet in so many Hallmark ways. Even though I knew how it would end I still found myself looking forward to listening. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It‘s me...not you. Basically my excuse for every holiday novel I pan. The sweet, cutesy romance with the virtuous female protagonist and match-making mother was just blah. Not my thing.

I am glad I branched out to try a new genre this month, but I think I‘m now done. 🤣 I may still read One Day in December, since that seems a popular pick on Litsy. We‘ll see.

I never sleep well at a hotel so I stayed up late reading this from the lending library. Quick and fun holiday story that kept me engaged.

Apparently Country Inn and Suites now has lending libraries in all US/Canada locations. There were some really quality, brand new books in there!

Super cute! I really enjoyed reading this book today as my first book of the new year. I read it while waiting for my husband‘s new car to charge, and I‘m glad I picked up such a sweet love story and that I was able to finish it in a day. Thank you to my #SSS match for sending me this!

A story of Love wrapped around the Christmas holidays. If you enjoy Hallmark movies, you will like this book. Just what I needed. I was feeling merry and bright when I finished! Easy, quick read with a sweet ending.

I read Debbie Macombers Cedar Cove series when I was in my 20s and I loved them. I‘m excited to be reading more of her books. I enjoy them. Cozy, feel-good books.

Just finished wrapping up packages for the #merryandbright swap. Hopefully I‘ll get it in the mail when the post office opens up Monday morning.
