I love Mizzou football games but I could be home reading a book.

I'm fine with the rain hanging around, because it makes for perfect reading weather. But if this turns into snow, I'm going to be super pissed.
Well the rain continues here in Houston and the amount of flooding and devastation is truly heartbreaking. We've been lucky in my neighborhood and so far just the streets have flooded but no homes. We are stuck in the house because all the roads are flooded so we are listening to the rain coming down and trying not to worry that it is going to get worse. Not much reading going on, I guess I need a book that I can truly escape in to.
Well we have had a quiet couple of hours, got power back,
But it seems the rain is back and it will be another stormy night. We have been extremely lucky here with just a lot of rain...my heart goes out to the people who have had to deal with so much more.
Can't find any #rain on my bookshelves, but rainy weather has often given me the perfect excuse to read more. 😁☔️

My little pink flamingo baby watching the rain coming through . 💕😊
#NoRain isn't in the cards for me today. Grew up on a farm and never actually saw this happen, but I can imagine!

Morning Littens! It's yet ANOTHER rainy, nasty day here in NJ. I have a few errands to run, but all I want to do is curl up on the couch with a good book. How's the weather by you?
After three days of constant rain, my spirits and the sun are finally bright! For some reason while it was raining I didn't even want to read. I'm back into a book (or 4). New especially like the fact that the closest lightning is 828 miles away! ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
