My husband and I aren‘t football people. In fact the only day we watch it is Super Bowl Sunday and only because our good friends throw a party for it every year. We come because it great times, with great people and good food. 😊

So no reading for me today.

I'm not much of a sports fan (as I can tell many of you aren't by the posts), but, living in Philly, if I didn't watch the game, I would probably get beat up tomorrow. That said, pretty great game played by both teams. Hopefully Philly won't live up to their reputation and burn down the city... Also, kids apparently have an excused absence from school for the next two days!!!!! (according to a friend)

ThatBookishGal See....I was born on Super Bowl Sunday (they actually brought the tv into the delivery room so they can watch the game. Doctors orders), so the Super Bowl holds a special place in my heart, and I married into a Minnesota Vikings family...but don't be surprised at some point if pull out a book at some point. I'm used to reading with background noise 😜 8y

merelybookish @ThatBookishGal we were living in Pittsburgh one year the Steelers were in the Superbowl. My due date was close. Everyone kept asking me what I would do if I went into labor on Superbowl Sunday?! 😃 I was that concerned but did figure the doctors and nurses would be distracted. 8y
