Read in August 2017:
This is not a new book but rather a selection excerpts from his previous works and a few short stories. I'm anxious to read this just to remind me of why I love Murakami so much. ♥️

My inaugural #24B4Monday (first workless weekend needs this! ;)) late to start at 1500hrs after I got to know about it earlier. In past 7hrs since I began, have only clocked 1hour.
Maths is not promising but I'll be happy to finish various incomplete books by Mon.
📚 1 is my 2nd for #AuthorAMonth. I certainly prefer his short stories. Except for graphic recount of an execution from Wind Up Chronicles, this was good mix without usual formula.
My pick for #AuthorAMonth is off to a lovely start. I am enjoying excerpts from his books. Rereading the start of Norwegian was a delight.
Bite-sized Murakami has always worked well for me! Hopefully one of the chapters will lead me to a full novel.
The other is my #MonthInTitle for #March #currentlyReading #ebooks

Small dose of Murakami makes a pleasant Sunday morning 😉😉

Black cat? Murakami, of course. Pretty much all of his work has them lurking around. 😺
Because it‘s Valentine‘s, let me share with you part of my S.O.‘s bookshelf! :) He‘s into more crime and magical realistic stuff, while I‘m more into YA and romance. 😊
How about you, guys? Are your partners bookish too? And if you‘re single, would you mind if a potential S.O. isn‘t big on reading? Heehee.
#bookishlovers (idk if anyone thought of this hashtag before but use this so we can easily find each others‘ posts! ❤️)
Impressive! An insight in the heart of the Toquio gas attack with the testimonies of some victims. #mustread
Just in case you want to know how to write "Disneyland" in Japanese. ??

Not exactly a book but based on his works.

Ughhhhh the wait for the translation will be long... 😭
A new Murakami door-stopper! It'll take a year or more for the English translation to come out. I haven't enjoyed very much that he's put out in the last several years, but I have high hopes this one might be awesome!

I'm sure I'm not the only Litten who thought of Haruki Murakami for today's #17booklove theme of #AuthorILove. In lieu of finding and taking a picture of all of my Murakami books (too much work), here's the infamous Murakami bingo from the NYT Book Review that I've posted in the past.
There are only three of his books I haven't read: What I Talk About When I Talk About Running, Wind/Pinball, and The Strange Library.
