It was a good read, but the last part seemed a bit rushed. I feel like there could be more to this story.

After a rainy start, work, and a quick nap...it's now sunny and gorgeous out so time to catch up on some reading! Plus no migraine! Yay!

For all that I read over 17h this weekend, I only finished one graphic novel and a book with only 2 Ch. left. This because I read ALL THE BOOKS, and one of them is 1k pages long. 😂 So let's start another one, why don't I? 🙄 This one is short. Short stories even. And essays. And not in Litsy database, so I tagged the first book in the series.

Wow I‘ve not been on here for so long!! Things have changed in my tiny world....I left my job at the jewellers after 10 years and now I‘m enjoying the time to get through my massive tbr pile!

This alternate history steampunk series chronicles the adventures of real-life explorer Sir Richard Francis Burton and his buddy, real-life poet and sado-masochist Algernon Swinburne. The bad guys find this out when they capture and torture Swinburne and he has the time of his life. #booklove17 #SandM

This is the only steampunk book I've read. I do have others (including the rest of this series) but they're all in boxes (hence no photo). I quite liked it, suited the mystery lover in me. I read so long ago, I don't recall who were all the (real) Victorian people in it. I would however want to own what passed for a taxi in this book. Would make a killing flitting people about town. #seasonsreading2016 #steampunk
