I thought this was the most straightforward Coben thriller, until the last 25% and then I got whiplash with all the twists.
Good to be back with Myron, Win and Esperanza 😁

I will be so glad when this word disappears from every day conversation in books (and anywhere else!).
I discovered Harlan Coben after a reviewer on GR commented on another book that that book wasn't as good as the Myron Bolitar series. The library just happened to have the first 7 books in one Kindle download, which fed my reading addiction super well.
The first one was good and they got better with each one. The 7th, Darkest Fear, was quite good and had me hooked until the very end.
1. The Light Between Oceans by M L Stedman
2. Gorky Park by Martin Cruz Smith
3. The tagged book, Darkest Fear by Harlan Coben
4. Again Gorky Park by Martin Cruz Smith
This was an easy prompt for me. I was lucky enough to meet Harlan Coben in the mid 90's. He liked my name, and later used it in a couple of his books, Darkest Fear and Live Wire. I am still amazed when I open one up and see my name! #characterwhosharesyourname #riotgrams
At least 20 of my friends are at Bouchercon in NOLA this week. Wish I had the extra $ to go, but I love all their posts. (I picked this book because I'm a character in it LOL)
