Good brunch and good book. Just started #sixofcrows for the #popsugar18 prompt about a heist! Lots of world building going on in these first pages but I think I‘ll get the hang soon enough.

At first I thought this book was your standard page turning mystery; enjoyable but nothing too special. I was so wrong! AJ Finn absolutely hooked me & threw in some amaaaazing twists. Read this book! Using it for alliteration prompt in #popsugar18
I liked this book...with a few caveats. Very slow beginning, so much violence and aggression towards women, and an ending that could‘ve wrapped up in way fewer pages. Overall I‘m still glad I read it, and will probably continue the series at some point. #thegirlwiththedragontattoo #nordicnoir #popsugar18
Oops a lot happens when you take a day off from Litsy! Here are my #5in2018:
1. Theft by Finding Diaries by David Sedaris
2. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë.
3. Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
4. Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
5. The Heart‘s Invisible Furies by John Boyne.
Thanks for the tag @CarolynM ! I nominate @hermyknee !
I didn‘t love this book. The writing was so repetitive and I felt like the characters were just experiencing the exact same feelings/thoughts over several situations. Decent twist and easy enough read but otherwise I may have bailed.
Started #thegirlwiththedragontattoo by #stieglarsson today for #popsugar18 January group read! Wrapping up #theenglishwife by #laurenwillig...which I haven‘t loved but is finally picking up steam!
First book finished in #2018! A page turner that was equally inspiring, disturbing and entertaining. #thepower
