It‘s been a while.
First book of the new year.
I‘ve read this one before, but not from a 1911 hardback version with a previous owner‘s notes inside.
I‘ve been in a flare-up for days, and so far this book is making me feel less alone.
This sounded like an interesting read, but it was too slow for me. 🫠
In my mind, Miss Marple is played by Maggie Smith. 😹
I was diagnosed as Autistic three months ago. This is my first book reading into the history of it. If anyone has recommendations on books by Autistic writers, I would love to know! 💗
After a month and a half of rehearsing and performing in a play, I‘m now easing my mind and body back into normalcy with some tea and Agatha Christie. 🥰
Kinda meh, but still a nice distraction from the week.
Life is a bit overwhelming, so I‘m calming myself with Agatha Christie novels. 🥂
Another day, another historical fiction. ✈️
Haven‘t read this book since high school. Excited to reread some of my favorites from then. 🎨
When I see the word “grit”, I think of the food grits and start wondering if anyone still eats that stuff. 🥸
Cat curled up on me? ✔️
All the pillows? ✔️
A couple hours to read after a couple busy weeks? ✔️
Training for two new jobs, while working two other jobs. Having a few hours to read is much needed.
Curious to read this as cases of the Delta variant increase over here.
I feel like I should be dressed up and drinking tea from a vintage tea set while reading this book, but sweats covered in cat hair is the best I can do right now. 😹
Tried something different as I heal from my second vaccine shot.
Oh, look. Another book I haven‘t read yet that has been sitting on my shelf for a few years.
Finally reading a book I was supposed to read for my conservatory training years ago. 🥸
BRB going to my happy place.
When it‘s too cold and windy to do anything else.
A way to finish this year, and start anew.
I like that the library allows me to be curious while on a budget.
Election coming up, and I‘m still bitter. 😭
Nothing has changed and I‘m still bitter. Could‘ve had a good one. 😭
Remembering that time I played Mary Warren in a production of this play.
Summer reading.
Can‘t decide if I should keep reading, or bail... 🤔
Edit: I bailed.
