It's a great introduction to all things finances, written in an accessible and entertaining way. I already felt knowledgeable enough on more than half the chapters so I skimmed or skipped those, but there was still plenty of helpful advice, specifically in the relationship with money chapter and the investing chapter. Seeing that she has a second book all about investing, I'm going to have to purchase that one, too.
Ideal for recent grads!

A good resource for young people who have no idea AT ALL about how finances work. If you already have a basic understanding of your financial life, other books would probably be a better fit.

I feel attacked. But it‘s really helpful advice with modern banking services mentioned.

Still shopping for #litsypartyofone goodies? This app has a bunch of rebates on snacks!
Use my referral code, wwoatvs, and use redeem and applicable rebate within 7 days, and you can get a $10 welcome bonus. Sign up at https://ibotta.com/r/wwoatvs
Full disclosure: I am one away from the 3 sign-ups I need for the bonus. So although I always recommend this app (as demonstrated by the money I've redeemed!) I'd be extra grateful for referrals now 😃

Smangela Oh my gosh I'm 1 away too! I hope you get a referral asap :) 8y
TheBookDream #Smangela Thanks! Me too. It's a great deal for whomever signs up, since redeeming even a candy bar within 7 days gets you the $10 bonus. You can't cash out until $20, but after you redeem the initial rebate you use it at your leisure and cash out when you can. I love it 👍👍🙂 8y

Really enjoyed this one! Some great financial advice that doesn't feel like I'm getting beaten over the head with it by my parents.
