Okay, this book legitimately blew my mind. I recommended it to several friends and talked about these concepts with my therapist. I read it slowly, so I could reflect on each chapter and now I want to go back and reread the whole thing again.

This is my favorite one so far! Things are heating up and I cried several times in this book! The end shocked me and MAJOR CLIFFHANGER. Yes, I am already reading the 13th and FINAL novel in this series.

This is one of my favorite covers for the series. Here, we get a lot more of the series plot, with some answers we've been waiting several books for. Still, we get a nice wrapped up mystery... that's something this series does really well, the balance between book and series plot.. This one ends on a cliffhanger, so make sure you have the next book handy!

Soooo... I actually read book 2, I think. It was cute. Maybe a little too cute. It walked you through how to draw christmas stuff kine by line, but almost everything had eyes.... I don't need a wreath with eyes. Just saying. I prefer my how to books tonteach me some skills I can use beyond the one how-to and this book didn't do that.

I binged this whole series so hard. I highly recommend it if you are into UF and looking for something to sooth your Kate Daniels or Harry Dresden withdrawl.

So, I love the Witcher III for ps4, and I'm excited for the Netflix show that dropped on Friday. I want to read the two books of short stories and the first novel before watching the show and this was the first one! It was super fun. I loved listening to it. Best yet, I am excited to discuss it with an old friend because it needs to be discussed.

This was a really funny and quick read. The Christmas element was used splendidly and I understood the character dynamics even though I haven't read the rest of the series. I will be reading the rest of the series at some point now, though!

Lots of fave characters, including love-to-hate Christy, make an appearance. I also love that things are heating up politically and we get a lot more about the fae in this book. This book does a good job of keeping the story contained in one book while still really situating the story in a changing world. Hard to do so far into a series, but really done well.

I love this series. I love that the characters develop in,this series. Things change and the choices they make in each book carry through the rest of the series. Mercy is a BAMF I love to root for. Her husband is a hottie werewolf. Her step daughter is becoming a BAMF herself and the rest of the characters are just as fun. Great plot, too. I immediately picked up the next one.

A charming sequel that I enjoyed as much as the first one. The character additions were excellent and I'm looking forward to another Christmas mystery... Hopefully next year! (Also. This book had Santa. Maybe.)

I loved everything about this mystery, even the cats. The killer surprised me! I thought I had it figured out and was blind to the clues because I was so in love with my theory. The characters were great, the town charming, and romance perfect. I can't wait to start the sequel. The only thing I'm upset about is that there are only two books.

This book wasn't in the database. It was all right. The art work was... Not impressive and the story was cute but the kind of story an adult would like reading to a child, not the kind of story a chikd would fam in love with.

I really love the books by John Douglas. This one focuses in on four cases where Douglas had to interview and evaluate killers. He had some interesting insights and managed to make it fresh instead of a rehash of his other books.

Added bonus: the audio book is read by the actor from Mindhunter and there is an interview with the author at the end.

3. I'm excited for some holiday themed true crime and Christmas cozy mysteries. No specific book, but lots and lots of murder.

4. I like getting bundled up, drinking warm drinks, buying gifts for people I love, and getting snow days that let me stay holed up inside with a good book.

I cannot stop reading this. However, I just realized this mystery is unsolved.

So much happened in the first thirty pages that i wondered where the book had left to go. It had so MANY dark twists and turns. I enjoyed every minute of reading and will definitely be looking for more from this author.

I'm going to have a cozy Christmas murder--I mean mystery--fest for #wintergames. I'll need to start with the Twelve Slays of Christmas for team #Slaybells. #teamslaybells? @MidnightBookGirl

One of my favorite parts of this book is slowly learning what really happened.

This book was twisty and dark. I loved it. The characters felt fleshed out and the ending left me satisfied.

I am loving this book so far! So many questions I need answers to!
