Yay, one of my favorite podcasts comes back for season 2 on January 16! Great stories, reading, and sound design. Highly recommended! #levarburtonreads
I find this simultaneously depressing and comforting, if that's possible.

This was a interesting modern retelling of King Lear, in which a billionaire media mogul hands control of his company to his two oldest daughters. He's determined to reinstate himself and be reconciled to his estranged but beloved youngest daughter. Part of the Hogarth Shakespeare series.
They've been on my TBR forever, so I decided it was finally time to start reading the Vorkosigan Saga. Hoopla has the entire series (I think) on audio. A great way to kick off the new year!
"...the Earth was now on the galactic charts, a way station for people traveling star to star. Strangers once, but now there were no strangers. There were no such things as strangers. In whatever form, with whatever purpose, all of them were people."
One of the best things about the #library is that you can get books on a whim for free!
1. Cosmos by Carl Sagan, read by LeVar Burton
2. Lincoln In the Bardo by George Saunders
3. Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann
4. Martha Wells

I am very gradually working my way through this fantastic audio Sherlock Holmes collection, read by the inimitable Stephen Fry.
New (to me) books from Half Price Books!
When I'm sitting in my armchair, there's just enough space for Delilah to squeeze in next to me.

Reading this for a book club in January.
I just signed up for #LitsyAtoZ from @BookishMarginalia for 2018. At first I was going to plan out most of the books based on TBR and wishlists, but then decided I preferred the flexibility of playing it by ear. Can't wait to see where this goes!
1. All Our Wrong Todays by Elan Mastai
2. Elmet by Fiona Mozley
3. Mrs. Caliban by Rachel Ingalls
4. The Power by Naomi Alderman
5. Sing, Unburied, Sing by Jesmyn Ward

Really liked this one. Just exuberantly creative and deeply compassionate.
