pickI can‘t say I enjoyed this book, but I appreciated it. A deeply unsettling story of time, aging, childhood and motherhood. And the intro from Karen Russell is really good. The book was originally published in 1978 and I imagine it would‘ve been viewed as controversial or fringe-y then.
My independent bookstore day haul, 3 books and a tiny book light. I also earned $10 off and 15% off my next purchase at one store and 15% off at the other store.

I just had to pick this one up today. The cover is beautiful. There is an intro by Karen Russell and blurbs on the back by Kelly Link, Claire Vaye Watkins and Samantha Hunt. Sold.
