Just finished this novella from one of my favorite series. It‘s the bridge between the first trilogy and the next. I‘m still not sure how I feel about the new point of view characters, but desperately need to know how their story continues! If you like Maas, this is a must.

Found this in the bargain bin for $5! I‘ve been wanting if for ages but never could bring myself to pay $30. What a prime example of patience paying off. Though I‘m now reading 4 books at once since I couldn‘t wait. Oops.

Spending the afternoon with coffee and this pretty sequel!

Reese and I wildly approve of this final entry of the Illuminae Files! Now, the first may still be my favorite and the second the funniest (that Lollipop song). But this one wrapped it all up very nicely with some more memorable maniacal AIDAN moments. This series is one of my favorites!

Finally tackling this one that‘s been on my TBR list for years. This woman inspired little me in so many ways, mostly to not get pushed around by boys or leave sci-fi to what they‘d claim was theirs alone. I only wish I had gotten around tot reading it while she was still alive. Time for big me to be inspired. ❤️

I‘m sad I didn‘t like this more. I really liked their previous series (These Broken Stars). I had to force myself to finish this and never felt invested in the main characters. Also, the writing was pretty rough. About every other page repeated what came before only in a slightly different way. This was a disappointing read from authors I enjoy. Not sure if I‘ll even give the second one a shot.

Calling this an early b-day present since that‘s tomorrow. I can‘t believe Obsidio is here!!! Thank goodness I have all evening to reeeeaaaaaaad!
