Guys, things went from good to really bad in just a matter of hours. Our apartment completely under water, as is my car. We have lost everything 😔Trying to keep my head up, but dang.

1️⃣Houston, TX originally Arkansas. 2️⃣Hunger, Roxane Gay- since I'm attempting to get healthy! I also enjoyed A Court of Thorn & Roses & Big Little Lies. 3️⃣I'm in the mood for a classic, so maybe a Jane Austen I haven't read yet. 4️⃣I loved Judy Blume! 5️⃣Harry Potter ⚡️6️⃣I'm not sure yet 😱. #letstalkaboutbooksbaby
"Nothing will ever be okay again, not in the same way, but I'm getting used to it." This quote is so relatable for me, especially since my mom died a few years ago.
Would it be terrible to pull my book out during the Astro's game?
My 19 yr old daughter is home on a college break & wants something epic to read! Any suggestions? She's a romantic at heart, but also likes paranormal & dystopian.
I just cannot get into this one. Too many others on my tbr stack to read to waste time on something I can't get into! 🤗
Today's library haul... not sure which to start next! Suggestions?
🎵Just a few of my favorite things 🎶
My reading buddy is down for the count!
This is the best in the series this far, imo! I *may* have a slight crush on Rhys 🤗
Really liked this book series, hoping for the same with the tv version!
I'm super excited to began n book 2! I loved #ACOTAR so much, I just know I'll devour this one just as quickly!
I love Charlaine Harris, I'm excited to try this series! Has anyone else read it?
This one was better than the first two, but still it was just ok for me. I liked the characters, and the plot was good- but it was just too slow.
My TBT... No haters😁it was the book that made me fall in love with reading! Twilight will always hold a special place in my heart
I have mixed feelings on the first two in this series, but I liked them enough to keep reading. Starting #3 now!
I really wanted to like this series, but it was just ok for me. The potential was there, it was too slow. I'm not sure if I'll continue the series or not.
Leaving on a long road trip tomorrow so I've chosen Anna Karenina as my first audiobook! Any thoughts?
After so many recommendations, I've started this one today. So far it's a bit slow, but I'm sure it will pick up quickly!
This was a fun, easy read reminiscent of Vampire Academy, House of Night, & Sweet Peril. Not bad for a debut author.
I LOVE the Stephanie Plum series, but 22 just wasn't as good as the rest. I still belly-laughed at Lula the 'ho & Grandma Mazur, but the suspense was lacking. And not enough Morelli/Ranger!
Starting this series tonight b/c my daughter swears it's amazing! {{fingers crossed}}
So far: sadness, loneliness, desperation. I can't put it down! I will have finished it by morning, I'm sure!
In vain I have struggled. It will not do. My feelings will not be repressed. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you. ~Me. Darcy
