So very gruesome at parts, but such a wonderful psych thriller. Will definitely be reading more by this author!

Read the first half in one sitting. The second half took a little more to get into, maybe because I was too busy this week. Over all, really enjoyed this fun, psychological read!

[DELETED] 2232195534 I've loved this author's Spellman series. Looking forward to reading this one at some point! 8y
Kd_reads @kaysreadinglife I haven't read any others buy her, but I liked this so much I'll have to look into that series! 8y

Talk about a love hate relationship! Half way through I threatened to throw it out the window of the car as I was so frustrated. Then the book finishes and I decide it's a good story. I think this might be a case where the movie does a lot for the book. The book is A little wordy and drug out.

KrisConstantReader I've been wanting to read this one. 8y
[DELETED] 2232195534 Am hearing a bit of mixed reactions for this one, but I'm going to try it. Plus wondering about the movie. 8y
Kd_reads @KrisConstantReader its definitely a roller coaster, but one of those books that if you stick it out until the end and then think about the story, it turns out to be a good one. 8y
Kd_reads @kaysreadinglife I'm still a little confused as to why this one was picked up to be a movie. It's either going to be fabulous or incredibly boring. There's definitely potential for it to be fabulous. I have such mixed reactions of my own for this one!! 8y

Fun read about three roommates that are given the opportunity to take "pretty" an unknown elixir that will make them absolutely gorgeous for a week. All about beauty and what beautiful really means. Great read for girls in the college years!

So I want this to be a pick and a so-so rating. I enjoyed reading it, but it wasn't anything stand out stellar. Now maybe if I did any competitive sports in life, I might think this book was phenomenal. Full thoughts and review on the blog this week.

A good story overall and an enjoyable read. The main character has some character flaws that started to annoy me, making the book a little obnoxious. However, that's part of what makes the story, hence the lower rating. All in all a fabulous YA book, especially for kids having a hard time with HS.

@joe_hill knocked it out of the park with this one! I didn't want it to end. A spore that basically causes spontaneous combustion becomes cause for the sick vs the healthy in this apocalyptic thriller. I'll need a while to nurse this book hangover!

Not as exciting as the first. Lots of dragging out scenes. Still love the story line and feel too invested to give up on the series though!

kristen_reads I'm struggling through this one as well. I don't want to give up b/c it has potential, and the reviews are excellent! But it's just not very exciting to me. 8y

This is the second book by Harlan Coben that I have read, the first being The Stranger. I could definitely pick up on trends and personality of the author after reading both of these books. This one definitely had me guessing and trying to solve the mystery right along with Maya.
