Say hello to Ruby Tuesday, my birthday present from the hubby. Isn‘t she adorable? I really really wanted a corgi but the prices for puppies were just ridiculous, over $7,000aud so we went for a boxer instead. Didn‘t hurt that she looks like a mini version of Twitch, our bull mastiff dog we lost to heart problems two years ago. We‘re having a bit of an adjustment period so far, but she should settle in soon.🤞 #dogsoflitsy

Hi all! I‘ve been MIA this week. Yesterday was the anniversary of my daddy passing and work & school have been crazy, so I‘ve been quite antisocial. Thanks for all of your sweet words, thoughts and prayers everyone! My sweet boy is back home and sleeping next to his mama. For right now, it looks like it is another pancreatitis flare & he is going to be one of the lucky puppers that gets to stay on gi food for life. Better that than most of the other alternatives, so I‘ll take it!

Guys, my good boy, my sweet Cletus is back at the vet. He‘s been vomiting his food again. We were thinking that he was either eating too quickly or may be having another pancreatitis flare. My husband just texted me and said that they are getting abdominal x-rays because something “didn‘t feel right”. Please keep him in your thoughts. He‘s only 4 1/2....

Hi everyone! I‘m back with a Clete update! His sister has been taking very good care of him (see picture 2), & his meds and new food along with some rest seem to be helping. He‘s even felt like going out and working on his tan a bit in the last day or so! We‘re hopeful that he‘s on his way back to being our happy, healthy Cletus!

Look who decided that he felt well enough to go out in the yard and get some sun this afternoon!

Hey Litsy fam!! Our sweet little Clete has pancreatitis. Thanks to our wonderful vet, we have meds and some different food to eat for a while. Hopefully this is an acute condition and not the beginning of a chronic one, and he‘ll be on the mend in a couple of days.

Scout and Clete haven‘t said hi to everyone in a while, and they wanted to see their Litsy fam!! FYI: This is the look I get when I ask who the noxious odor that is leaking in to my office is coming from...

I just wanted to share with you guys that it‘s Clete‘s 3 year adoption b-day!! (He‘s about 4 now) Three years ago I received this picture along with a note telling me that he desperately needed a home, and asking if we could rescue him. We had just lost our sweet Buster, and I wasn‘t sure if my heart was ready, but I couldn‘t just leave him there. That was one of the best decisions that we‘ve ever made! #cletetheboxer #boxersoflitsy

Before I go to sleep, I had to show you guys: my husband charged the huge RC truck that we bought the nephew tonight & tested it out. He proceeded to chase the Boxers with it & ran Clete (my fearless protector 😂) in to my lap. 🙄 (my children are not allowed to get on the furniture- leather couches & Boxers toenails don't mix) P.S.
