AllDebooks It's been a real struggle over the last few weeks with the riots here in the UK. There is so much hate and what makes it worse is it is perpetuated by msm. Wednesday made all the difference when so many people came out to peacefully protest and act as a safety barrier to protect asylum hotels, mosques etc. There is hope. There is more love in this world than hate. 3mo

Glorious Exploits: A NovelRead4life Right now I‘m relaxing & will be reading after I scroll through Litsy. 🤓 I‘m going to be spending as much time with my daughter as possible since we bring her back to college mid next week. TheBookHippie I‘m crabby 🤣. Just worn out really. People exhaust me and people who can choose not to care, because of privilege, wear me out. On the other hand the joy of seeing your positive protestors over there (so lovely) and the Olympics and the joy of people rejuvenated about hope is giving me life. 3mo

AllDebooks @dabbe The hardest thing is having to delete people from social media who I've known for decades. I can't cope with the hate. 3mo
dabbe @AllDebooks #understood I actually deleted some of my cousins back when Obama was running for president because of all the horrific things they were posting about him and Black people in general. We haven't spoken since, but I'm okay with that and the riddance of toxicity. Sending you 🩶🖤🩶. 3mo
Catsandbooks @AllDebooks @dabbe the same thing happened with me during the 2016 election of having to remove people from social media because of the horrible things they were saying. A few years ago I deleted my Facebook because it was taking a toll on my mental health and I don't regret it one bit. You gotta do what's best for you ❤️ 3mo
