A stunning #picturebook that teaches kids a bit about time zones. I loved the illustrations, and thought it was done well. Maybe not a book that your child would want to read over and over and over, but good for a library loan. #bbrc @LibrarianRyan

It's this time of year ... 🕐🕑
Clever way to teach kids about time zones and how it can be one time/season in one part of the world and a completely different one in another. The use of art is smart, as well, with pictures of different areas blending together seamlessly.
#FallIntoReading Day 19: #ThisMoment around the world from Senegal, Paris, Bulgaria, Baghdad, Iraq & Dubai to United Arab Emirates. How could one not fall in love with the ethereal quality of the artwork, the unnatural size of the picturebook with its rectangular design, & how it all comes together in the end, weaving back so beautifully to where it started as the story moves around the world throughout the day. Question 1. Are you new to this genre? If so, what did you enjoy (or not enjoy) about it?
If you‘re not new to this genre, how does this novel compare to others you have read in the genre?

I‘m tagging only for question 1 - I will post 4 more additional questions, so look for hashtag 😘
Getting in first maybe on #abbainaugust because #timezones and #newzealandseesthemorningfirst 😂
#mammamia made me think of this book I read as a teen. I hoovered it up and thought all mothers were probably monsters - at the time I wasn‘t all that impressed with my own one! Far too long ago for me to recommend this to anyone else. Have any Littens read it more recently?
