I feel like sometimes people forget that L'Engle wrote more than just the Wrinkle in Time books. I loved her Austin family books, too!

Edenton, North Carolina is the #SmallTownSetting of this book that I read for a book tour review party a couple of years ago.
I especially liked learning about the New Deal Post Office Mural Project that featured in the story. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_post_office_murals
This book takes place in a small town In Minnesota. It‘s 1961. Nathan Drum, the father in this book is one of my favorite male characters of all time. #bookcrush #bookbinge #smalltownsetting
This was my favorite read of 2022. It‘s in my top five best books of all time. The novel has one of the best opening lines,
”The past is a foreign country, they do things differently there.”

#BookBinge #SmallTownSetting this one still on my TBR, his book Empire Falls also qualifies as small town, remember liking it , been awhile, not much else.
#BookBinge Day 25: We spent seven days in Bodrum, a small town in Turkey by the Aegean sea, and it‘s giving #SmallTownSetting vibe as can be seen in this photo I took in one of their stores. Dogs everywhere.
