My first foray into #BrandonSanderson is going well. #Starsight was just as action-packed and exciting as #Skyward. I thought Cytonic would be the finale, but there is another book coming out this year, plus three novellas. Not sure how to feel about this.

This series is hands down one of the best I‘ve read lately. A world where gravity disappears and suddenly the sky is dangerous. Love the concept, love the main character, and love the plot! I don‘t know why, but I really struggled with Starsight. The concept was good, but felt like it was lacking something and not as great as Skyward. Also, I found a few things guessable. :/

What a ride! Lately my depression has been kicking my butt and everything is uninteresting and cannot hold my attention. But, this book finally held my attention! I could not put it down. It was fun and made my heart race with me on the edge of my seat. I‘m glad I took a risk with this since I didn‘t like Mistborn. This is a must read!

The_Heeler_Booklife @Linsy depression is the worst and the sucky thing is I‘m bipolar and the med I‘m on helps my high points, but isn‘t helping the depression. So, need to get that worked on. But, I devoured a 500 page book in 2 1/2 days. Success! I already started book 2 since I need more of the story. I heard book 3 is delayed until 2021. :/ 5y

Linsy @The_Heeler_Booklife @The_Heeler_Booklife I‘m so sorry! My husband is bipolar as well and last year his meds did absolutely nothing to help with the lows. I‘m so sorry. I know it was super hard for him. That‘s the hardest thing about finding a new series, right??! I would also recommend Warbreaker, although it is very different from Skyward. It‘s more in line with his normal fantasy, but it pulled me in faster than Mistborn. Hang in there! 💕 5y

The_Heeler_Booklife @Linsy thanks for the recommendation. I will check it out in the new year. :) And finding a med to help with the lows is so hard. Fingers crossed in a week from now I can get a med for it or something. I‘m reading Starsight now and super good. 5y

The_Heeler_Booklife @Linsy I am forcing myself today, but still think Starsight is good. Yes, finding the right med or meds are so hard. I had to change meds 3 times in a month span last month and it was the worst. 5y
