One nice perk of having a Little Free Library is when a book you‘ve been wanting to read is dropped in it by one of your patrons! I‘m adding this to my TBR for next month 🙂📚.

Overall I didn‘t love the book, but the writing is lyrically beautiful. I will certainly read more by her!

Undoubtedly one of my favorite graphic novel series so far. @Eyelit I‘m really enjoying these, thanks for the loan!

Kinsey‘s new friends are great, and they remind me of my band of misfit friends in high school. We absolutely would have gone to the cave and gotten into trouble.

It‘s sad watching the mom spiral deeper into her drinking. I want to see her start healing.

This was my first Ann Patchett, and it won‘t be my last.

I could completely envision the Dutch House, it‘s ambiance, and it‘s luxury. I love the story of how it came into Danny‘s family and it‘s influence on each of them. I felt connected to Danny and Maeve. I particularly liked Maeve‘s drive to keep Danny in school, and was shocked and angered by wicked stepmother Andrea.

Morning plans 😊. I have under 200 pages left, it feels like the home stretch in this #chunkster! @Mitch , was it you who told me there were big reveals in this one? Oh my gosh, the thing you find out around the middle about Lord Golden floored me! I stayed up 2 hours past my bedtime because I just couldn‘t stop reading! 💛 I will likely go in to book 3 in Feb. after I read my bookclub books.

You‘d never know from the title that this book is hilarious. Or maybe I have the sense of humor of a 16 yr old boy...

Greg and Earl make films, usually inspired by films they‘ve watched, usually not very good. They become friends with a girl, Rachel, who has leukemia. They let her watch the films, and she likes them. It‘s adorable and snarky and funny.

This may be my favorite YA I‘ve read this year.

I have no idea how Sietje managed to do this in her sleep, but I‘m guessing she‘s dreaming of being a Caped Canine Crusader this morning!

I‘m having tea and getting in a few pages of Plainsong by Kent Haruf before heading to the new house with cleaning supplies and a first carload of stuff! The movers come tomorrow, we‘re pretty excited 😊.
