I liked this, not quite as much as book 1, but it dealt with some serious subjects-specifically toxic masculinity-in a quality way. This is far more slow burn then is typical of Tessa Bailey but it fit the story. Still includes heavy steam that is typical of this author. 4⭐️

I finished this fun Beauty and the Beast retelling by Jack Harbon. This is very close to the Disney version, but very adult, both in sexy times and violence. In fact the violence was surprising as I was expecting a sexy romance read. Still an entertaining quick read 3.5⭐️

On a roll today! I finally finished the Shadow and Bone trilogy, 3 years after completing book 2 (which was so-so). It was a good finale. It‘s brutal and violent (which I forgot about) but also definitely lives in the YA space. The ending was a little abrupt but still satisfying overall. 3.5⭐️

This was a very steamy indi romance. Our heroine is a podcaster sexologist and our hero is a carpenter bondage rigger. All you need to know. I wish this had been a little longer for better relationship development, but it was a good quick read. 3.5⭐️

Another entertaining installment in the Immortals After Dark series. This is a long novella featuring two characters from previous books. Though this one lacks some of the plot of the overarching story, I still enjoyed the live story. 4⭐️

Wow this was a ride of a book. A very dark (see content warnings in comments), very hot pirate romance. It is A LOT, but I could not stop reading it. The heroes of this story are fantastic, but seriously read the trigger warnings before trying this book. 4⭐️

My first read of February! This was a charming contemporary romance about a meteorologist and a sports reporter that team up to get their bosses back together and fall for each other. Does deal with depression in a very conscientious manner. 4.5⭐️
