The final book in the Polished P&P series and West‘s love story with Adrik. This one is a far more serious book than the others and for those with triggers there are some tough scenes, but it is also a powerful story about accepting who you are. This was one of those books where the first 75% was really enjoyable and then it was straight off the rails without passing Go or collecting $200. There was so much good stuff going on here, with both of these characters learning about loving themselves for who they are instead of feeling like they constantly need to put on a persona to impress. I had some niggles with the earlier parts of the books, but why even bother mentioning them when ⬇

I finished this fun Beauty and the Beast retelling by Jack Harbon. This is very close to the Disney version, but very adult, both in sexy times and violence. In fact the violence was surprising as I was expecting a sexy romance read. Still an entertaining quick read 3.5⭐️

This one was a soft pick for me. I really loved the concept and most of the characters, but some of the writing just seemed... overdone? Grey felt a little ridiculous with his self-imposed “there is no point in being friends with anyone!“ and it was so painfully obvious who the real “villain“ was that it made some sections drag. Usually I like hearing from the perspectives of both MCs, but knowing what was going on with Gray meant there was no ⬇
