This was a compelling romance with characters who are drawn together though they come from very different backgrounds and situations. I liked how the FMC was differently abled but that it wasn‘t the focus of the book, simply part of who she is. The secondary characters were fun and added to the story. It was steamy and fun, I will look for the next in the series.

Was there actually a story here? I‘m pretty sure it was Frankie and Jay meeting. Him saying once he‘s not a relationship guy, then them saying screw it, let‘s have a relationship. There was a bit of a story about Frankie‘s podcast and they go to 1 event together. Otherwise, it‘s them having sex 95% of the time. I picked this up for #pop22 - protagonist uses mobility aid

This was a romance out of my wheelhouse but only 5hr audio.

Megabooks A person in a wheelchair wouldn‘t have thighs that muscular. Growing up with a mom who has paralyzed legs from polio, you notice things like that. 🙄 2y
Laughterhp @Megabooks She said she had spinal cancer when she was 3. So she still had some feeling. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 2y
Megabooks But was she using them because some of it comes from disuse, and the wheelchair on the cover you can‘t get in and out of easily by standing. Idk. I think sometimes they don‘t make considerations about things like that for cover art. The book could be perfect, which I guess it‘s not 😉, but the cover art doesn‘t make sense to me. It‘s like they said, “make her conventionally attractive but sitting!” (edited) 2y

Laughterhp @Megabooks Ohh I gotcha! Yeah, there is no way her legs are as muscular as they are on the cover! From what I could tell, she wasn‘t using her legs at all! Always in a wheelchair. 2y

1st in the All Access series, an indie series where each female lead lives with a disability. In this novel the lead is a sexologist who had spinal cord cancer as a toddler and now uses a wheelchair. The male lead is a carpenter but also teaches all access bondage at a kink club as a rigger. Steamy scenes, good communication between characters, and character growth. Short book.

This was a very steamy indi romance. Our heroine is a podcaster sexologist and our hero is a carpenter bondage rigger. All you need to know. I wish this had been a little longer for better relationship development, but it was a good quick read. 3.5⭐️

Such a cute and funny contemporary romance. I loved the rep and Jay and Frankie‘s circle of friends.

Jay is a carpenter and local Shibari teacher. Frankie hosts the All Access podcast and goes to him to learn about accessible rope play for her show. There‘s an instant attraction and a quick jump from friends to frating to dating. The relationship felt really quick, maybe because of the timeline jump.I enjoyed this book and look forward to book 2
