“The Right Swipe” is a perfect blend of a strong female protagonist, character growth, and romance. Rhi never gives second chances but what happens when a one-night stand turns into your competitor‘s spokesperson, who you have to work with! If you can relate to being ghosted, check out this fun read!

The Book I am reading right now will officially give me a bingo in the #LittenLoveBingo challenge. But I am going for #blackout. I have already made lists of ideas, and scoured litsy to find titles i own that will fill the slots for #recommendsay, @BookishMargainalia , #LittenAuthor, @Mr.Book, and #BuddyRead. I'm not likeing my choices for #AuthoraMonth, but I shall try. I'm saving the ones from my reading lists for the very last!!

Soubhiville The author a month thing didn‘t last- only 2 months happened. Looks like one of the hosts never posted to Litsy and the other hasn‘t posted in 4 months... I feel like at some point there was a list of author names thrown around for this, but I can‘t find it... maybe we should revive it with some well known and well loved authors to give you more than 2 choices? And for others maybe still participating in #LLB. I may do that tomorrow. 6y
LibrarianRyan @Soubhiville when I dug through Litsy I found Boyle, Hannah, and Zauska. I am the messenger has been on my list for a while so I think I will try it on Audio. But yeah it does a quick death. It was an interesting idea. 6y

LibrarianRyan @WanderingBookaneer I‘m tempted to do his newest book because of the controversy, but I will probably stick with Zausk. 6y
WanderingBookaneer I have his new book, but I‘ve been afraid to read it. 6y
Soubhiville @LibrarianRyan and @WanderingBookaneer Ladder to the Sky is excellent, but it‘ll make you mad 😊. 6y
LibrarianRyan @WanderingBookaneer yeah. I had to do a lot of reading about the controversy and I didn‘t care for his reactions. 6y
WanderingBookaneer @Soubhiville : I read it, but HATED the second part. I still enjoyed the book, thiugh. (edited) 6y

I loved a lot about this book. The representation of #bisexuality felt very authentic, as did the fat and sex positiveness. I never totally got Natalie, but she also felt like an IRL friend? The plot is Natalie decides that since she's been chasing sexual relationships for so long she needs to take a break. The narrative alternates between past and present but there's no payoff when the timelines meet up. I was expecting a more chick lit plot.

CaseyTheCanadianLesbrarian Tbh, this feels a bit like a novel drawn from someone's real life that hasn't been sufficiently made into fiction. But anyway, I definitely am not sorry I read this and would recommend it as one of the only books about a bi character I've read that really rang true for me in that aspect. #Recommendsay 6y

It took me a month to listen to this audiobook but now that it is over I don‘t know what to do with my life. I loved every minute of this book. I laughed and cried throughout the book. Michelle Obama is an incredible person and I‘m so glad I had the opportunity to read her story in her own words. #fivestars #recommendsay

Ncostell I‘m listening to this now and absolutely loving it. I really wanted to hear her tell her story! 6y

Beautiful and heartbreaking; about the power of storytelling and history. The story jumps in time- from China during Mao's reeducation and shortly after Tiananmen Square to detail the experiences of multiple generations. #ReadingWomenMonth #Recommendsay

Just finished the Brave New Girls anthology. This book would be a perfect gift for the teen girls in your life. It's full of sci-fi shorts with kick-ass girls who are good at STEM. And the bonus is that all proceeds are donated to a scholarship fund through the Society of Women Engineers! #recommendsay

My #Recommendsay and #augustofpages #bookphotochallenge entry is Brazilian author Jorge Amado. My favorite is Dona Flor - this book has everything: love, sex (with a ghost!), cooking school, music, drugs, gambling, Carnival (of course), voodoo - you name it, it's in there and larger than life. It's very well written and a lot of fun to read😊

For #Recommendsay (tag courtesy of @Liberty ) I have to go with Saga! It's a rich, totally immersive story with amazing characters & stunning artwork. Before this year I was a somewhat reluctant comics reader, & Saga played a huge role in my conversion to comics-lover. Can't recommend highly enough!
