Mehso-so

So it kinda reminded me of “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days”. Not really my type of story but… it was okay. Some pretty descriptive sex scenes which is always fun :) #DoubleSpin #KindleBackLog

Not my usual type of book, but... the it might be a “fun“ read. Using this as my #KindleBacklog book for #DoubleSpin. I want to say I got this “free“ from like romance free kindle books? It sounds about right.

Anyway, it might be cute :) Here goes.

#bookreport

Finished “The Ballad of Songbird and Snakes.”- ⭐⭐ I did read a large chunk of it in four days, but was disappointed overall.

Started “The Girl Who Smiled Beads” on audiobook-very engrossing so far.

Also started and bailed on my June #bookspin-another #kindlebacklog title that couldn‘t keep my interest.

@Cinfhen

Cinfhen Oh, I‘m glad Beads is good so far. Does the author read the audiobook?? 5y
Cinfhen Oh, wait I see the print....read by someone else 🤪 5y
SLibrarian5 @Cinfhen I think the author might read a few chapters here and there... The narrator is pretty good, but I am interested in hearing the author read her own words. 5y
Cinfhen I agree, memoirs are usually best when read by the author...although sometimes a “professional” can add to intensity and make the words come alive( especially if it‘s nonfiction material) 5y

My #bookspin #bookspinbonanza titles in order!

I‘ve got my next #booked2020 prompt and my next #kindlebacklog as my #bookspin and #doublespin-how serendipitous. 😄

@TheAromaofBooks

TheAromaofBooks I've been working on my Kindle backlog as well! Apparently I had no concept of what books I would actually enjoy reading back when I first bought my Kindle 😂 5y
SLibrarian5 @TheAromaofBooks Hah, same! I grabbed a lot of freebies and ones with pretty covers. 😅 5y

This week‘s #bookreport! I finished a bunch this week, and so I started a bunch more 🤷🏻‍♀️I‘m happy to say that half the books pictured here are books I own! #theunreadshelfproject is off to a good start.

Cinfhen Awesomeness!! I‘m hoping to #KickMyKindlesAss next month and read a bunch of my #KindleBacklog 5y
dariazeoli @Cinfhen Well, I think you‘ve used my new favorite hashtag! Good luck kicking ass! 😀 5y
Cinfhen I‘ll probably get my assed kick 😜 5y
