I have seen many of these Disney twisted tales, and always wanted to read one.
I really enjoyed this one as it played on the original story, but gave The Little Mermaid a different ending. I can't wait to read another one of these twisted tales.

It took a few chapters for this debut to gather strength, but it finishes as a really fun read! I loved the Ren Faire setting for this romance. Blogger/artist Kayla meets film director Ren at a press junket, & there‘s a connection, they ‘get‘ each other. But there‘s a world between them, they‘re unlikely to meet again, & both have stuff going on...

This steamy romance is completely out of my normal reading (if anyone‘s seen my normal reading, please send it home!), but I enjoyed it. The characters are well-drawn, the conversations felt real, the complications weren‘t overly-contrived 👇

rockpools and the steamy bits were steamy! I also enjoyed the love/hate relationship Kayla had with her sister. And can we talk about just how stunning that cover is?!

This may never be my go-to genre, but I‘d certainly read more by Sareeta Domingo.

I absolutely loved this audiobook. The cast was incredible, the story was enthralling & I enjoyed every moment of it. It tells the story of a group of people, living in a green community that is cut off from the world after Mt Rainier erupts. 🐵

So, here is #GreenwithEnvy. The Thousandth Floor is a scandalous YA series about the different people in various economic classes in the tower that takes up the majority of the vertical City of New York. There is lots of jealousy, blackmail, and lavish parties.
