AllDebooks I have so much to catch up on, book reviews, #NaturaLitsy #VirginiaBloomsberries #TheLittensSociety 😅 This is my favourite time of year but also the hardest for me. I'll literally hibernate until spring now to try and control my asthma flare-ups. Just had back to back chest infections, and I am worn out. Planning a restful weekend. 4w

dabbe So sorry you're dealing with asthma; it's the worst at this time of year, isn't it? Hoping you're feeling better and that you have a restful weekend. We're lying low in the boat this weekend, too. Pip and her seizures last week put us through the ringer (even had to cancel our trip up north to deal with the poor girl), but the new meds seem to be working. Looking forward to the 7th baseball game today--go, Blue Jays! 🩵⚾️💙 4w

kspenmoll Happy Saturday everyone! I just have a few errands, then I plan to read with kitties on my lap & later in the day make beef stew per Julia Child. I had planed this earlier in the week when the weather was cooler but now it‘s supposed to be in the 60s today. So the unpredictable crazy weather we have been experiencing since September continues… (edited) 1mo

Dilara Happy Saturday! I enjoyed some “me time“. I went to the market for artisan tofu, then to the library. I had a middling bowl of ramen soup for lunch & bought a small chocolate gâteau as an afternoon tea treat. Also, there was some kind of 2nd-hand clothes sales in the streets, so I got a few things for me and daughter. After which I had a Viennese chocolate at a bookshop/café, where I also bought 2 books for me & 1 for the grandkid. I overspent 😞 1mo

Dilara @kspenmoll I checked the Fahrenheit>Celsius conversion: 60°F is what we're supposed to have this afternoon where I live too, but it was quite wintery when I went out this morning (under 10°C/50°F: a few degrees less than usual at this time of year in Western France). Enjoy your stew, whatever the temperature! 😀 1mo

Dilara Happy birthday to the 4-year old! We celebrated the grandkid's 4th birthday last week: they grow so fast.
My plans for the day are 1) go for a walk and enjoy the sunshine while it lasts; 2) go to the cinema for a special viewing of Gloria!, a film about the Venetian female musicians who interpreted Vivaldi's music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2T0zvQOEDkw It may be cliché and rubbish or it may be great, but I am willing to risk €4 to find out😄 2mo

Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick Greetings, Littens! I was exhausted, so I went to bed early last night & slept in today. My body needed the rest. It's gloomy here in NJ but a rainy nor'easter is in the weather report for the next two days so we'll likely run errands this afternoon so we can watch horror movies & clean while stuck inside. Fingers crossed, I'll get some reading in and a little time to do book nerd stuff. 🤓 2mo

If, like me, you found the on the sea part of A Marriage at Sea a little thin, this is the book for you. Salvador is an extraordinary man with a great attitude, and I loved this book.

Librarybelle Life has been hectic; no apologies necessary! I think I can relax most of this weekend. I‘ve barely had much downtime the last few weeks, and I have a few things on the horizon that will make it even less the rest of the year. But, it helps pay Zeke‘s medical bills (he‘s doing very well) and distracts from the world at large. I‘ll snatch reading time when I can! Hope all is well with everyone. 3mo

Cuilin No apology necessary, life can be that way. Hoping to relax, read and get a little outside time this weekend. Health has been up and down. Med changes, more testing. I‘m boring myself talking about it. 😴 3mo

I had hoped to be one month closer to menopause but, alas, this morning I've had to reset the timer to zero again. 😒 On the plus side, I went out and bought my spring-flowering bulbs. Just thinking of all the colour and joy they secretly contain is making me feel better. 2mo

TheBookHippie Migraine Clinic Monday. One of my meds side affects are too much so I‘m weaning off it… which will be 😵‍💫 it helped my essential tremor, anxiety, hot flashes and vertigo…. So yah. That‘s me. Otherwise trying to get by in this dumpster fire world and find joy. My sunflowers are starting to open up to show their flower and I am beyond excited. (edited) 2mo

dabbe No worries! Life has a way of getting in the way sometimes. 💜🧡💛 Finally got rid of all my sutures on my shoulder and had my first PT yesterday, which went amazingly well. Had to take pain meds later, but still! Looking forward to a walk with Matt & the pups, and a quiet day of reading and college footballs. Such a combo, right? My 7th Percival Everett book. I inhaled it almost as fast as the cranberry orange scone. Every one of his books is so different—I‘m in awe of his creativity and range. This one is a story in three parts that eventually converge by the end. Loved it.

ElizaMarie Husband and I are seeing KPop Demon Hunters sing-a-long. It so cute to see all the kiddos dressed up! But also- we don‘t have kids and hey - it‘s okay and doesn‘t matter! It‘s a great movie with great soundtrack 3mo

kspenmoll My family went to Mystic Ct by the shore & indulged in lobster roll( me) & fat belly fried clams( hubby & son)- a last hurrah as I return to work Monday. Beautiful sunny day, if we hit 80 degrees the sea breezes made it seem cooler. I am stuffed & happy! 3mo

1.Went to The Bully Bookshop‘s pop up at brunch & scored a couple “blind dates” (I‘m on a buying ban but I told myself it didn‘t count if I don‘t open them yet 😂)
