Christmas haul this year was a good one! I‘m mainly a fantasy/sci-fi reader, looking to add a bit more flavor this upcoming year. Also got the #kindleoasis and loving it so far starting reading #Elantris by Brandon Sanderson on it. It‘s the only Sanderson book in the #cosmere I haven‘t read yet. Spy Penguins is the books my 8 year is falling in love with reading over and Wing feather saga is my reads to him!
This observation about imparting knowledge to others really speaks to me. My job often entails training and mentoring students of veterinary nursing. I, too, have marveled at the way some of them hold their "weapons", in this case IV catheters or syringes while in the early stages of learning. ?⚔??

There were a lot of details I had forgotten but remembered the main plot twist. I was still blown away by the depth of this book. When rereading the mistborn trilogy, I thought that #BrandonSanderson wasn't a romance writer. But the blossoming relationship between two characters in #Elantris is very central to the story and very well written from both of their perspectives. There is an interesting blend of genres and truly unique plot.
