Finished this big boy today! After not truly loving the second book I decided to hope back into this interesting world after some time away. Weeks was back on his game for this one, characters are all doing interesting things and are in interesting places by books end. I am excited to read the next now after a Skyward reread. #brentweeks #lightbringer #epicfantasy

Busted out this bad boy to start a read with my 9 year old! We are aiming for a chapter a day, I am hoping this gives him confidence with his dyslexia.

Finally starting book 2, trying to get back on the reading train to hit my goals this year.

With no power (thanks winter storms in Texas) I was able to finish Elantris! As a fan of Sanderson (started with Way of Kings) I took the less traditional route in discovering his works. I finally gave this book a try and was surprised how it found it hooks in me half way through. A magical book within a magical world that doesn‘t show a lot of its magic!

Christmas haul this year was a good one! I‘m mainly a fantasy/sci-fi reader, looking to add a bit more flavor this upcoming year. Also got the #kindleoasis and loving it so far starting reading #Elantris by Brandon Sanderson on it. It‘s the only Sanderson book in the #cosmere I haven‘t read yet. Spy Penguins is the books my 8 year is falling in love with reading over and Wing feather saga is my reads to him!

I didn‘t plan on finishing the Wax and Wayne reread this year, that was planed for next year. After reading Rhythm of War I needed some fun wacky cosmere and this delivers. Love the characters Sanderson‘s ability to write a wide birth of personalities is incredible.

I set a goal of 20 books (most I have read before in a was 11) and with this read of #Shadowofself I have hit that goal! Now the book I love! A western detective style book with that sweet Sanderson #Mistborn magic! I know people are the biggest fans of this era but I love it. 2021 I will reread the original trilogy.

And with that I am done! Book 19 of a goal of 20 for the year 2020. I throughly enjoyed this book, I do have some pacing issues with it but man o man is this connected to the Cosmere like no other!

Woke up early to go buy this beauty! It‘s been a all day read-a-thon!

As a #Cosmere nut this novella was just up my alley! The implications of Sanderson‘s universe are huge! This novella delves into living with disabilities like very few novels I have read do, let alone fantasy. The Lopen gets a great character study here as well. Can‘t wait for #StormlightArchive 4
