Happy Tuesday! Today was busy, so I‘m a little late. All I have to say is, he did it again! I thought I knew where it was going. But I wasn‘t expecting that. I can‘t wait to finish this one. Don‘t forget we are doing both parts this week. I don‘t think anyone will have a problem. It‘s so hard to put down now.

JacqMac @Meshell1313 I‘m wondering if Zane has an inquisitor‘s spike in there. I don‘t know, but it‘s the first thing that came to mind. I‘m about to dive back in because I need to know who lives and who dies. 8h

#Cosmerebuddyread Wow. Sanderson has done it again- just when I think I know where the story is heading, he does something completely unexpected that I never see coming. That ending made me immediately go and purchase the next book. Can‘t wait for our group‘s next few discussions but I couldn‘t help but finish early! Thank goodness for our buddy read so I am not alone with this! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I once again rocketed ahead of the buddy read for this because I could not stop reading! This was a bit longer than the first book, Mistborn, so it was a bit more of an effort in places, but WOW am I really loving this world.

Meshell1313 Yes ok soo we at least know who the journal belongs to but we still don‘t know who the imposter is? And do we talk about Vin and Zane? Ugh. 1w

rabbitprincess I had a feeling that Elend would not be re-voted king but was not sure of who would replace him. So hurray for being ahead of a cliffhanger for once, sort of 😆 1w

Leniverse @Meshell1313 I tried to keep track of who has been eliminated in the hunt for the imposter, and I wonder who I have forgotten. Or if it's going to be some nameless servant nobody ever notices. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 1w

Leniverse Yeah, I'll be happy not to lose any more major characters, but at the same time it seems anticlimactic if it's someone we've not even met. And I don't trust Sanderson not to sucker punch us 😒 1w

Leniverse I quite enjoyed learning more about how the Keepers use their powers. Especially how charging a metal mind doesn't have to be a hardship, it can be useful like making your body lighter for climbing or dulling your sense of smell when something reeks. 2w

The downside to reading on Kindle. That's the zoomed in version of the map 🧐 I guess I'll just create my own headcanon map for where everything is in relation to each other, because I can't even make out what places are marked on the map - much less where they are 🤪

Jess861 I've fallen behind once again, lol. I grabbed it off the bookcase but haven't started it yet. Hopefully I have a bit more time to read this week - I spent most of my evenings this week helping the kiddos with the gazillion Valentines cards they needed to do for school. 3w

rabbitprincess I‘m excited that there‘s a NEW METAL! Duralumin seems to be quite a tricky one to burn. I nearly cheered out loud on the bus when reading the scene where Vin rescued Breeze. And this business with the kandra feels a bit like a closed-circle murder mystery, so I am very much intrigued. 3w

rabbitprincess Also, a slight sad trombone moment for me at the part where Vin and Elend were talking about Kelsier and Vin described Kelsier as “ancient” at the age of 38 😂😅 That means I will be “ancient plus one” this year 🥲 3w

Good. Nice fantasy story. I read this for Goodreads Epic Quest challenge and even though I hadn't read the ones preceding this it was still enjoyable but I do recommend that you read the others first.
