Am I the only one who reads multiple books at one time? I usually keep a daytime read and a nighttime read.

Jess7 I read multiple books all the time. I typically try to make sure they're different genres or at the very least very different plot lines so I can keep them straight. I'm just too fickle in how I feel each day so I need to be able to switch around - plus I almost never bail on a book so if it's slow it just gets pushed to the back and I read it less and less till I finish it. Also i have to read multiple bc my holds come in all at once! 🤣 7y

OrangeMooseReads Since Litsy came into my life I've gone from a 1 book at a time reader to as many as 5 at once. I usually have an audio and 2 physical or digital books going. 7y

TheBookStacker I'm reading 4 different books right now. 2 kindle, 1 physical, and 1 audio! Lol physical for daytime, audio for cooking/cleaning, and kindles for night time. 7y

Lcsmcat I usually have two - a traditional and an eBook. I prefer eBooks for work and other out & about reading. And sometimes a third on audio. 7y

Riveted_Reader_Melissa I usually have 4-5 going. A physical book that only gets read when I'm at home and it's quiet, an ebook that's on my phone and gets read anywhere at anytime, an audiobook that gets listened to when I'm driving, or cleaning, or gardening, and a second audiobook that I only listen to with my mom (those are long listens and take months). That 5th one I'm trying, is reading with a group doing a chapter a day of a series, or through SerialReader 7y

Smangela Always have at least 2 going. Most often at least 1 print and 1 ebook. But often many more :) have to read to suit my mood! 7y

Johanna414 I usually have 5 or 6 going at any given time. I'm a mood reader, so I just pick up whatever I feel like reading at that time. Sometimes I get up to 9 or 10 books and then I have to focus on finishing them before I'll let myself start anything new. That's where I am right now... 7y

Suet624 I'm reading three books and I just don't think it's the best way for me to enjoy a book. It's like trying to listen to three movies, alternating between them, and interrupting the rise to the crescendo. It breaks up the rhythm that the writer has laid down. Okay, enough of my rant. 😀 7y

I took a break from Litsy for a few days that stretched to get a week to get a grip on life and reading but I have no grip on anything, least of all Litsy, because now I'm feeling the panic of missing out on posts and discussions about buddy reads 😂 7y

Suet624 @batsy I know exactly how you feel. Be careful not to burn out on Litsy. Or on reading. I love seeing what others are doing and what they're reading, but I have to set a time limit for myself. Otherwise I'll become obsessive about it. 7y
