Just started this and I am absolutely in love with cover!!!! I love it. The book is starting off interesting. This author is really laying the ground work for her writing style and it‘s very exposition heavy but so far it has a good flow.

While it was wonderfully nostalgic to revisit Salem, the Denisson family, & of course- the fabulously wicked Sanderson sisters; sadly this didn't bring or add anything of note.

Flat undeveloped characters & an underwhelming storyline, I just went through the motions of turning pages it seemed. The idea of this was more exciting than the actual delivery IMO.....Bummer. 🤷🏻‍♀️
