AlaMich I made my dad order that from BOTM when I was a teenager, having zero idea what French cooking entailed. Needless to say, I don‘t think I ever made one recipe. 😆 4h

Just came across the #MtCookbook tag and decided that it‘s about time for me to give my cookbook shelves some attention. I think my goal will be to decide to either #readordonate ten cookbooks by the end of the year. Most of these have been fun to collect, but I‘ve only used a handful of recipes in them, as I look online a lot for the recipes I use. These aren‘t all my cookbooks, but this is the bulk of them. Since I need to start eating ⬇️

Indonesian Shrimp Fried Rice for #Mtcookbook! I love all of the concise options ATK offers in one place. I‘m a big fan of tables & charts with variations of something.

From now on my rice preference is basmati, as blasphemous to the stir fried rice tradition as that might be.

Tonight I‘m going to try the orange sesame. 😋 (With chili crisp of course.) ♥️

Ya'll I do not eat grapefruit it's actually not allowed with my beta blocker...
The funny is -see that tiny thing under the grapefruit? It's sold as a grapefruit bowl...

l actually do not know the last time I had a hot fudge sundae. Dairy and I are not really friends...

This was fun and easy and a nice treat after a long week and a trying day.

5feet.of.fury Seems like it‘s particularly not an ideal dinner. (& yeah that is an “orange bowl” at best 😂) 6d

mcctrish @5feet.of.fury orange bowl is what I thought too ( grapefruits interact with a lot of meds ☹️) I can‘t remember the last time I had any kind of sundae - lactose is a struggle for me 6d

Lynnsoprano I never heard of this! Of course, growing anything is different here in South Florida, and I haven‘t been able to grow any basil the past few years because a fungus kills it. 7d

Aimeesue @Lynnsoprano Ick, fungus! Florida‘s tough. My mom lives in JAX and she either can‘t get the veggies to grow or they get all eaten up by critters, bugs or slugs. Every year, it seems. 7d

I bought a copy of this book when it came out in 1992-in a bookstore! Without computer assistance!- then purged it at some point among our many military moves. This year‘s herbs springing up made me think of it, so obviously I had to buy another copy. 😄
