A cozy witchy holiday mystery. First book in a series. It was ok maybe so-so but I enjoyed it. Halliday, is a witch who return to Marshmallow Hollow town after she inherited a Christmas decoration factory. Her magic not always goes well but she has help from a hummingbird and a reindeer, who can talk and a cat. Only one person in town knows she is a witch. Sounds silly but it was funny, specially at the end when she try to resolve a murder case3⭐️

Gissy I‘m not watching much holiday movies, so these books are transporting me to the holiday hallmark world🎄

@Laughterhp so I‘m waiting on a response from USPS because the book I sent you hasn‘t updated since the 7th. I‘m hoping it‘s not lost.... I‘m sorry that this is happening. I shipped it on the 3rd. If worse comes to worse I‘ll send one to you through Amazon. I know there are shipping delays but 12 days is a little longer than I‘ve experienced this season. I‘ll let you know if I find anything out!

Laughterhp Wow, that‘s crazy. Okay. Did you send it media mail? I think it takes longer that way anyway. I sent priority mail boxes out on the 8th and they still haven‘t been delivered... so there is definitely a big delay for mail. (edited) 4y

slategreyskies My hubby actually had a book he ordered go into dead mail status. I‘ve never seen that before, but I think it means that both the sender and the receiver addresses are illegible. How is that even possible? Hope your book turns up soon!! 4y

Patchshank I still haven't gotten my BOTM. It hasn't updated since the 8th. It has two books I'm giving my grandma for Christmas. Post office is probably a mess because of the time of year and the election sabotage. 4y

Chrissyreadit @Pageturner1 and @ferskner both sent me packages due the 8th. My post office told me it would be another week. Unfortunatelythis is what happens when the post office is underfunded. Many hubs are completely overwhelmed. I think packages will arrive just very very late. 4y

I totally understand that there are going to be crazy delays right now but I feel like the tracking should have at least updated by now. I purposely tried to ship it quickly so it would maybe miss some of the rush but I guess not. @Laughterhp yeah, it‘s coming media mail. In some ways I wish I did priority. 4y

TheBookHippie @eanderson I had a book from my bookstore go “dead” took 4 weeks to get a tracking and then it magically arrived SIX WEEKS LATER 🤯 @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks sent me a package we think they repackaged it I got some and then months later got the other item 🤷🏽‍♀️ 4y

I always enjoy these short biographies and have a bunch of them in my class library to encourage students to include some nonfiction in their reading. This was fun to read as I continue reading through Jane Austen‘s books with #PemberLittens and am currently listening to The Jane Austen Society. Although I haven‘t read a thorough Austen biography I was aware of most of this information from previous reading.
