The cover looked good, the book well full of teen drama. The characters never grew. This left us with a cliff hanger fir the next book. Will I read it? Not likely I'll continue with this series #HauntedShelf #FightClub #SpookoweenReadathon #Witchaton #PumkabooHuntSize Large #SeriesLove24 #ReadAway24

Another book with mixed reviews. I think the concept was interesting, dark and weird. A town that believe in female saints but at the same time were mysogynist, extreme and violent in their punishment against women until one of them will discover her magic, that their others like her and all of them will revealed secrets that they are not alone. “Saints” or witches? I think there will be a sequel. Not a great story but kept my attention 3/3.4⭐️

I read this novel long time ago. I forgot how terrible Mr Heathcliff was and how dysfunctional, violent, co-dependent these relations were. But thinking about the author, how brave she was to write in a novel about these topics was incredible and she was young. I think I need to re-read it in the future after maybe read more about the author. I will need, of course, another beautiful edition. I read the Thomas Nelson edition. 4⭐️

Tamra Love that edition & the novel! 2y
Gissy @Tamra I have various titles from the same special edition. I decided that I will read some of my special editions, when I die, many years for that I hope😜🤣 books probably will end in the recycle bin or in a charity store that we don‘t have many here. They don‘t read or have the passion for books as I have🤷🏽‍♀️So now is the moment to appreciate those beauties😍I really enjoyed that novel with that terrible character. I‘m glad I re- read it🤗 2y

I know this one has mix reviews/ratings but it worked wonderful for me. I loved the relationship between Ben and her grandfather and later with her grandmother and how they accepted and respected Ben. That ending was so sad but at the same time understandable due to Ben circumstances. I enjoyed it so much. I also like this author‘s writing style and retellings. I haven‘t read other genres by her but soon. 3.8/4. Thank you @mabell

This book was not what I expected. I knew was a retelling of Romeo and Juliet so I thought would be a romance story. Loved it. In some parts I didn‘t see it as a YA. It is about betrayals, revenge between these two gangs and that impossible romance. It has this element that I don‘t know if it is fantasy with a touch of sci-fi? Something is killing people from both gangs and both gangs are trying to investigate the origin of it, the cure⬇️

Gissy Cont. the eradication of it. Who created it? Why? And that ending, was perfect. I couldn‘t put it down, I almost finished it in one day. 4⭐️Ready for the sequel.

Chloe‘s father is doing time in prison, accused of six murders. Twenty years later, other girls are missing using the same method as her father used in the murders. A copycat maybe? More than one suspect. I suspected of that character but then I focused on another character. The end was maybe predictable but for me was an interesting twist. The author urgently needs accurate information about forensic psychology as a profession😳🤦🏽‍♀️3.8⭐️

3rd book in this series and I could say is my favorite. It has elements of urban fantasy but the story was like a cozy mystery. I liked Alex role as witch investigator, the romance, the plot, the characters. It was good and that end was amazing to motivate you for the next book in the series. But you have to like witchy, fae urban fantasy. As always, the story has funny scenes. 3.8⭐️Rating based comparing book from previous books

Read in 2nd week of October
It has mixed reviews but I liked it not loved it. After Jane‘s father died she moved with her mother to the North‘s Manor, a house Ruth, inherited. Jane started to hear noises but her mother said is because is an old house, abandoned for 2 years. But then she started to see things. Something happened in Halloween in that house. So many secrets behind those locked doors. The end is so creepy. 3/3.4⭐️
