A fun book, strong female protagonist, and many #wildcreatures #nofemmeber
Were the Rosenbergs really spies or were they set up by Ethel‘s brother, who offered compelling testimony against them?
I don‘t know much about the Rosenbergs but hopefully one day I‘ll read this book and find out!

Gerald Durrell writes about #WildCreatures (his odd family included) in such a wonderfully witty and nostalgic way. The Corfu Trilogy is one of my favourite “comfort” reads. ❤️

There are lots of #wildcreatures in Angela Carter's Bloody Chamber and only some of them are animals... #NoFemmeBer @Cinfhen @Billypar
These #WildCreatures/#WildeCreatures were the first I could think of.
The Wilde men love strong and independent woman. The Wilde women/girls are allowed to grow into strong women. And there's Lady Knowe who's the kind of aunt everybody wishes to have.

DAY 15: There are some enigmatic #wildcreatures in Area X. Artist Eric Nyquist designed the stunning covers and inside flaps (pictured) of these editions. *swoon*
Unfortunately, I wound up not loving this trilogy. 😕

A story of Gerald Durrell when he was 10 years old, and his family‘s four-year migration from England to Corfu in the 1930s. There he developed his passion for wildlife, local flora and fauna, and animals play an important part in the tale. Still on my #tbr.
