For yesterday, which I missed because I was limiting my online activities to avoid Last Jedi spoilers. I started this book this year but didn‘t get far. I‘m using it as an entry in #LitsyClassics next year. #trivial #Quotsy #QuotsyDec17 #LitsyQuoteChallenge

Hooked_on_books Great quote 7y
AceOnRoam Yesterday was a really good day not to come to Litsy anyway 😅😆 7y

Walden | Henry David Thoreau

"I had more visitors while I lived in the woods than at any other period in my life...But fewer came to see me on #trivial business. In this respect, my company was winnowed by my mere distance from town." I loved all the quotes I'd seen from Walden so I expected to enjoy it. Instead, I couldn't get through it & had to bail. Right book, wrong time maybe? One day, I'll pick up this book again & fall in love with it?#QuotsyDec17

twohectobooks It took me like fifty thousand years to read Walden. If you can get through the Economy section then things get kind of pleasantly meditative eventually. However the real reward is the conclusion, and I‘m not trying to be sarcastic. That‘s where it all comes together. You might do ok only reading the conclusion, in fact. 7y
Read.Em.And.Eat I‘m reading one that references this quote! It‘s very very good so far! 7y

#QuotsyDec17 #Trivial My first Sense and Sensibility quote for my all-Austen attempt at this challenge. This is one of my favorite quotes from the book because it illustrates the difference in Marianne and Elinor so well. 💜#janeaustenknowsall

batsy This is a good one 👍 7y

It seems appropriate to have a quote about social networks on a social network. We certainly have a lovely blend of the #trivial and the non-trivial here on Litsy!
