If you like high fantasy with complicated magic world, well, this is NOT for you. This is a YA simple world and simple story where Kat will discover her enchantment at age 16. She is the one to save her kind. To be honest, this is an ok to so-so or pan story, but I enjoyed it and I already ordered the other 2 books in this trilogy😳Thank you to @hermyknee for choosing it from by tbr. An Absolutely Remarkable Thing: A Novel | Hank Green

One of the books (from my TBR) that I received from @bookish_wookish (among 3 others) as part of the #summersolsticebookexchange was “An Absolutely Remarkable Thing.” That‘s what this package is! An “absolutely remarkable thing,” indeed! SO. MUCH. SWAG. From the tote, to the book-sleeve; from the socks, to the notebooks — everything‘s perfect! Also, the kids who visit the library this Summer are going to be *super* jealous of my mermaid pen. 🧜‍♀️

monalyisha @bookish_wookish I‘ll be putting those bookmarks to good use shortly, as I prepare to write a paper for my grad class. They couldn‘t have come at a better time. I love that the books are all color-coordinated (intentional?) — watery blues & seafoam white. I‘ve been so looking forward to reading all 4 titles. As soon as I have some semblance of a reading life back, I‘ll dive right in (& tag you in the reviews). THANK YOU! 🙏🏻 5y
