This is the love story between Dani O'Malley and Ryodan, added on to what was the end of the Mac Lane series for what reason I don't know. Problems: Dani became intellectually mature before being emotionally mature, which makes for some seriously cringey (although I admit sadly relatable) scenes. Also, f&#k Ryodan, the powerful, manipulative, ruthless, absurdly rich guy that Dani inexplicably puts up with. More romance than fantasy, sadly.

This was a fun book. I enjoyed "the do what works for you" attitude. And I really enjoyed our coven chat Saturday on it ?? #WheelOfTheYear

It‘s a cautionary tale about letting technology take things too far in our world. It also acknowledges that women are somebodies not somebody‘s. This was weird and wonderful! 🐬🐬🐬

I‘m finally to a point where I can post about books again, so be ready! I listened to this one on audio and I feel like I would have been better served reading the physical copy. There were many times I had to rewind because I was still thinking through one aspect of the book and missed the next part.
