Bk8 & the final book in my #JanuaryBookHaul is another of the Seasons-Winter editions of four classic novels. This time it‘s Charles Dickens‘s A Tale Of Two Cities, my very first Dickens believe it or not. I‘ve never even read A Christmas Carol, only watched adaptations😔Bad bibliophile! This beautiful edition was worth the wait though. The laser cut cover is just gorgeous.

Bk7 of my #JanuaryBookHaul is this GORGEOUS Seasons-Winter edition of Wuthering Heights. It‘s absolutely lovely, the white is actually laser-cut heavy paper over a leather, gold embossed binding, with pale blue edges & it‘s one of only 10,000 printed. This is my 2nd copy though,the first has slight but visible damage from a box cutter, I‘m thinking of having a giveaway for people who aren‘t too worried about the small cut in the paper cover🤷🏻‍♀️

Bk6 of my #JanuaryBookHaul is this absolutely gorgeous edition of a YA version of the brides of Dracula. 17yr old Lil & her twin sister Kizzy are stolen from their traveller community & forced to work in Boyar Valcar‘s castle kitchens.Lil meets & falls for fellow slave Mira, but when Kizzy comes to the attention of The Dragon, a terrifying figure, Lil does what she must to try and protect her.Part of a new series about forgotten female characters.

Bk5 of my #JanuaryBookHaul is a signed copy of the new novel by the author of The Chalk Man. I enjoyed that one, though not the best I‘ve read, her 2nd,The Taking Of Annie Thorne,was very strange but a solid read, I‘m hoping 3‘s the charm & this one is the killer.Three years ago, Gabe saw his daughter taken but no one believes him, Katie works in a service station on the motorway that Gabe haunts & Fran is on the run. How do their stories entwine?

Bk4 of my #JanuaryBookHaul is a signed copy of the new book by the author of Neuromancer. I read that for the first time last year and loved it. Very clever and very enthralling, hopefully this will be too. Though I‘ve just found out it‘s the sequel to another book of his, The Peripheral which I don‘t have & now need to get a copy of. It‘s a time travel, SciFi, alternate history novel which sounds very intriguing.

Bk3 of my #JanuaryBookHaul is this beautiful edition of the 1st book in a new series. 1883 London, Thaniel Steepleton comes home to find a pocket watch on his pillow. Six months later, it saves his life by drawing him away before Scotland Yard is blown up. He goes in search of it‘s maker, a lonely immigrant from Japan called Keita Mori who seems harmless but is soon proven to have a lot of secrets. Can‘t wait for the next book due next month!⏱

Bk2 in my #JanuaryBookHaul is the 4th book in the Stillhouse Lake series.Gwen Proctor is still trying to move forward in life, leaving her troubled past behind. Working as an investigator has given her new purpose, but her next case is a cold one.Three years missing with no clues, a young man in Tennessee has left behind a mother tortured with unanswered questions.Gwen knows what it‘s like to worry about your kids, so she‘ll fight to find answers.

Bk1 in my #JanuaryBookHaul I loved The Monster Of Florence & this was highly recommended. In 2012, Preston joined a group of filmmakers using lidar to map the terrain under the rainforest canopy in Honduras. In a remote valley, they found the outlines of an undiscovered city which they then journeyed into the forest to find. Battling torrential rains, quickmud & snakes, it wasn‘t until they got home they found their tragedy had just begun.
