Just posting a quick hi to Litsy members. 🙋♀️ I joined here after looking for a laid-back and fun reading platform. Knowing most reading challenges begin with the New Year, December seemed like a good month to start.
About me: I volunteer at an animal shelter and only work part-time. My reading preferences vary depending on my interests or mood but I often seek out nonfiction, classics, fantasy or HF books. I also enjoy music and hiking.

@BarkingMadRead - I'll definitely be checking out #hashtagbrigade. The new TV adaptation of The Count of Monte Cristo is on my radar so it would be fun to read the book with a group. 🤗 3w
@TimEW Thanks for your comment and I understand where you are coming from. 🙂 Personally, I'm not into writing lengthy book reviews anymore and I don't do well with reading challenges that have a bunch of rules. 1w
