Reviewsbylola I loved Angela's Ashes so much. Frog Music is not Donoghue's best imo, I much preferred Slammerkin and Room. Ditto for Toibin and Nora Webster. I found it very slow but I loved Brooklyn. 8y

The Septembers of Shiraz: A Novel | Dalia Sofer

While live streaming my niece's skating tournament, I read about 150 pages of this wonderful debut. Although the storyline is heavy, the writing is light and beautiful making this an easy and pleasurable read. Figure Skating: A History | James Robert Hines

Not book related but I'm sooo proud, my niece is currently in Austria for an International Skating Competition & she's currently in first place after today's short program!!! I love how she's just enjoying this whole crazy ride and not stressed out over competing! She's been texting me all week just like a giddy teenager about all the cool people she's meeting & the sights she's seen ( when she's not practicing) #GoHailey WORLD's is in 2 weeks⛸⛸
