Maple Lam's new graphic novel came out last week, and I had the opportunity to meet her at #GRCC today and pick up a signed copy. I love the mix of East and West mythology, and the artwork is adorable. I can't wait to read it at the hotel tonight!
I'm going to be hanging out talking books at Grand Rapids Comic Con this weekend. They've got pretty good literary lineup, so I'm definitely going to be getting some books signed.

Did I just spend an hour taking to Nina Varela and Melissa Caruso about queer fantasy? Why, yes. Yes, I did. And Erin Evans gave me the most beautiful character art cards and showed me pictures of her kids' Halloween costumes. Book people are the best people. 🥰

Today is shaping up to be really busy at #GRCC, so I ran over and got my books signed first thing. SA Barnes was really sweet and signed a bookplate for me to use in her new book (coming out next year). I'm hoping to have time to go over and chat with the authors more later, but we'll see.
