We're doing the Night Market at the Toledo Botanical Gardens tonight, so I'm taking the opportunity to run around and take fun product photos. 🥰

I'm going to be hanging out talking books at Grand Rapids Comic Con this weekend. They've got pretty good literary lineup, so I'm definitely going to be getting some books signed.

GondorGirl @RaeLovesToRead the ones on the left of the photo are notebook/sketchbooks. The ones on the right are actually novels with our custom leather covers. 1mo

AHHHHH! Exciting news! We're officially doing the Columbus Book Festival (Columbus, Ohio) AND the Southern Book Festival (Nashville, TN)! I'm so excited to have two great bookish shows coming up. I volunteer my booth as a spot for a Litsy meet-up. 🥰

My favorite part of conventions is finding cosplayers and have them pose with the book they match. 🥰

These are my current go-to books to read before the floor opens at conventions. They're short, relatively cozy, and move slow enough that I don't get mad when I have to turn off my kindle. Has anyone else read this series?

Chrissyreadit i enjoyed the first one and would read more if it fell in my lap 🤣 6mo
Larkken I really liked these when the authors first released them in installments. I should do a reread! 6mo
GondorGirl @Larkken I'm really enjoying them so far! 6mo

wanderinglynn Yes, I‘ve read the first two when they were released. I‘ve been meaning to pick up the rest of them. Ilona Andrews also has a prequel short on the website. They share a lot of short stories & other stuff on their website. 6mo
GondorGirl @wanderinglynn Ooo I'll have to check the website out! Thanks! 6mo
HeyT This is probably my fave ilona andrews series. I love most of their work but this is the series i reread the most. 6mo
GondorGirl @HeyT There was a dead dog in the first page of the first book and I almost stopped there, but I'm so glad I didn't. It's a really charming series. 6mo
HeyT @GondorGirl yeah the dog almost got me the first time too 6mo
DogEaredBooks I love this series! Although I will say the sister‘s Sweep the Blade is my favorite and I am just always hoping they come back to her. 6mo
lyradora I freaking love this entire series. :)

Another weekend, another con (this one Motor City Comic Con in Detroit). I remember when I was on the road half the time, doing three shows a month. The pandemic really showed me how nice it is to just stay home! 😅 This is our last show of the year, so we'll make it a good one.

Today is shaping up to be really busy at #GRCC, so I ran over and got my books signed first thing. SA Barnes was really sweet and signed a bookplate for me to use in her new book (coming out next year). I'm hoping to have time to go over and chat with the authors more later, but we'll see.

Friday at Grand Rapids Comic Con! I got these two books signed and also chatted with author Ben Riggs for quite a while. Bonus, my favorite bookish skirt (it has pockets!).

This weekend is Grand Rapids Comic Con and we're all set up to sell books! There are some great author panels and signings planned, so hopefully I can sneak away from the booth. 🤞

I'm putting snaps on a stack of dice trays this afternoon, which would be a really boring task if I didn't have audio books. #AudioCrafting #Studio42Books

I just finished the tagged book, about a servant woman caught up in the witch trials. I was disappointed. While the book was well written, I don't think it brought anything new to the table. I didn't connect with the main character and wasn't invested in the outcome at all. 😕

CatLass007 I‘m sorry you didn‘t love your book. But at least you had it to keep you company. You said these are going to be dice trays. I‘m not familiar with what game you‘re building. But there‘s a dragon on it so I‘m interested. Will you be taking these to sell at a craft fair? 7mo
GondorGirl @CatLass007 dice trays are useful if you're posting Dungeons and Dragons or any game with a lot of dice. You can roll the dice in the tray and it keeps them from falling off the table. We have two comic conventions in November that we'll be vending at. 7mo
CatLass007 I have never played D&D. Which could explain why I couldn‘t recognize their use. I‘m trying to remember if I‘ve played any games with more than two dice. I think these are going to sell like hot cakes. I think before I read that they‘re going to be dice trays, I was picturing this with a lid so that it was a holder for mementos. Good luck at your comic conventions. 7mo
